They had a different plan for Daemon in Season 3 then season 4. That is kind of why we got two different versions of Daemon.

I think all eight episodes should have focused on defeating Daemon. That way the story line would have been more developed and we would have had more pop culture refrences that we loved so much.

Yeah, you're right about that. Every character in ReBoot said she was the most powerful super-virus out there... she WAS defeated rather quick. I still don't really get what her function was, though. And that with the timer thing... did she have to infect the Net within a certain amount of time? And would she have destroyed everyone who was infected with her own destruction?
