I would have to say, you work is nothing short of amazing. However, The task to make an episode re-rendered in HD would take Months, perhaps years to create. Now, I do not mean to discourage you, rather encourage to this large task. In fact, you may be the first person know to re-create ReBoot SINGLE-HANDEDLY! Well, it may just be only a few episodes or scenes, but I for one am ready to see something like this. It may even get mentioned to Rainmaker, and you could quite possibly get hired as a 3D specialist.
Your task ahead of you will be a difficult, time-consuming one. But if there's one thing I learned about spending time on something you love, is that you will only get better at it.
I would love to see Mainframes shows re-rendered it would be great it would also be an opportunity for them to be re-released on TV and have some DVD box sets come out for Reboot, Shadow Radiers, and Beast Wars (I know there are box sets for this I would still like to see it redone with better models and etc..).
Rainmaker is hiring - I think, you just have to go to their website. They have a link about working for them and careers available. :) Hope that helps!
Well, transitoryspace, I've seen your work and can only say: good luck! But I am afraid that this task is harder than you think... let's say that I would be very glad, but also EXTREMELY surprised if you actually managed to pull that off.
Again - good luck!
I'll be following your progress.
I'm more concerned about you. Redoing even just one episode is going to take up SO MUCH of your freetime, including replicating the background models, animating, and adding new special effects and all that. Probably 2 years just for 20 minute one episode
I suggest you stick to just one scene and make each second of that be nostalgia reincarnated into awesomeness! Or maybe do a scene from the WebComic erhaps?
But seeing your demo, looks like you know a lot of tricks, and I do look forward to seeing any Reboot work you do...but yeah, it seems redoing a whole season is a little way too much for you. I don't think it's worth doing all that work, even if it's for us fans, y'know?
But yeah, a scene would be great!!
I just don't want you to work so hard for something that was created by a whole company, y'know? Sounds like it'd be an overbearing task.
I, for one, would like to see ReBoot with more modern effects. I was amazed at how much different the movies were from the first and second season. I had duck tape my mouth because I was in utter shock and constantly gasping at how incredible it looked. Your work looks quite good and I hope that they recruit (-cough- kidnap -cough-) you for the job.

He might get some more help if he gets that one scene done, and from then on, it could help our momentum along.
