Okay, so I know I'm probably gonna get a lot of flack from this, but my favorite character from the first 3 seasons(since those are all I have been able to watch, as of yet) is ... Mike the TV!!! He was always so hilarious that I would laugh like crazy when I found out that he was in an episode. When I think of my favorite quotes from Reboot, I think of stuff like "Bucket-o-Nothing! for only 99, 99, 99!!"
I'd say Bob is the best Character since as "BobtheGuardian" said above me, he was so noble and willing to protect Mainframe and he could be mean to the viruses since that would go against his programming.
The most influential character would have to be a combo of Bob and Dot, since they taught alot about working together and having a plan while your rushing through life, haha.

Who is the best character, and why? Phong, the perfet mix of wise and senile, plus he had an awsome icon

Mariix- he grew changed and upgraded from little kid there for omi relife to badass (is a bit emo) gun toteing lead
AndrAIa, definetly. I used to watch reboot when a was a kid on toonami, and after it went off the air I slowly forgot about it. One thing that always stuck with me, though, was AndrAIa's bravery, loyalty, and general badass-ness. After eight years without reboot, the one scene I always remembered was AndrAIa's showdown with the female guardian in the desert system. Watch that episode; it's why I love her so much.
She is unflinching, loyal and tough. I love Matrix as well, for his character development and changes, but AndrAIa changes with him. Think about everything that she was willing to sacrifice for him, starting with copying herself out of the game, protecting Enzo against Megabyte, risking the games for him (although her icon was untested) and the list goes on. She is smart and resourceful and athletic, not to mention she makes a nice balance to Matrix's violent nature...without AndrAIa, Matrix would have given up a long time ago.
After her I like Matrix, and then Mouse.
Fave: Dot. She was just always a strong, independent woman and I think honestly since this was an early 90s to late 90s (yes and back in the early 2000s) show, she represented what women would really become.
Best: Honestly? Hex of course! She was just insane but there was more behind her insanity as well. And you could finally tell her flirtations with Bob were more than just being nuts.
Influential: Dot again. Like I said, she showed how a strong woman should be, even when she lost her love and her brother. Though she was on and off in the fourth season.
Probably Matrix, his run-straight-at-the-problem-with-guns-blazing attitude is always fun to watch even when it fails (cough Daemon cough) not to mention the fact that he actually has a venerable side underneath all his rage.
Even thought Matrix is my fav, I think we need to give Ray Tracer some more credit. He was awesome in Season 3 but rather than develope him into a super cool character in Season 4 they just shoved him in a corner and mentioned his name occasionally. (Tear)

And when they stood there, shouting, on the truck, as they got hit by a bunch of steel bars. And cried about something unrelated to that. Dammit, they should have been shown more!

Hexadecimal. There is no why. She's just awesome.
Which character influenced you the most?
I myself am hoping to write some sort of story. Lord knows I've made enough characters for a thousand-book saga. And when I look at who they are and where they come from... the first "true" villain I made actually has a lot in common with Megabyte. It's like I subconsciously took things from my childhood, like The Thief of Always by that guy who made Hellraiser. I can't really see any influences in my creations from other ReBoot characters, so I'd have to say that Megabyte influenced me the most.
My favorite character is by far Hexadecimal. The way she does almost everything insanely (almost?), like dancing with Bob, and painting Mainframe in the episode ''Painted Windows''. I was pretty shocked when she was blown up by that Game Cube... her first form was the one I loved most. But the good part of it was that she became even more insane while Megabyte held her captive :P
And although it was only for a short time, I also liked her very last form very much. I mean the one with which she was fighting Daemon. That form was also very awesome. It's cool she saved Mainframe and the Net and all, but I just couldn't agree with the fact that she had to sacrifice herself for doing so. If our beloved series is to be brought back, I hope the writers find some way to bring her back after all (and by the way, I hope those will be the original writers)!
After Hex, it must be Megabyte which is my second favorite, and thirdly it's Bob (who else?)
I think in ep 4.05, they hinted that she is still alive. Dot and Mouse were talking on a vid window about some trouble in the system. Apparently she didn't completely defragment over the web.
Favortie Character - Bob just because as a kid i always loved the Heros, and he was just the best out there
Best Character(s)-Hack and Slash, - They always made the mood of the show happy and go lucky, even if they were bad, they alwaysa made me laugh
Most Influencial - Enzo, he showed everyone that it is possible to upgrade and it is possible to be better than ever, That it is possible to stop the evil and protect everything you care about.

Character that Influenced Me the Most: Megabyte, he was intelligent, cunning, deadly. He was in control of mainframe for nearly an entire season. He just taught me to be a supervillan you need to be super smart, sophistication, ambitions and to be cruel to anyone. And as OspreySoul said "it's not his fault. It's just how he was programmed."
