Dead community indeed. Considering how long we had to go without so much as a peep from Rainmaker, I honestly thought this revival was dead in the water. I thought maybe the people at Rainmaker weren't impressed enough with our response to the comic, or that the recession would force them to postpone the movies, if they happened at all.

But NOW, now that we FINALLY have a teaser trailer, we finally have SOME indication that Rainmaker has indeed been busy behind the scenes, which is very encouraging. I'll be obsessing over this little short video like you wouldn't believe. :DD

The teaser trailer, really got me excited for a return of Reboot.

Having been a more than interested fan for many many years, I'm more than hoping it will happen.

From the teaser trailer, it took place in a metropolitan city where skyscrapers seem to fill the sky. (I can only guess it was 'dark' due to the incoming game)

This hints that the show may not be in the Mainframe I'm familiar with, but may also imply its an entirely different set of characters. And possibly a more modern 'technology integrated' type of world.

The original Reboot had a very 'steampunk' or better described as 'compu-punk' driven world. EG> Instead of an escalator, a giant robotic arm might come out and lift people up.

This reboot looks alot darker and frankly has a Matrix style impression. I'm hoping to see ALOT more!

That Trailer makes me uneasy. Mainly because that doesn't look like Mainframe.

Well, I was never expecting it to look THAT much like the original. There should rightfully be some alteration to suit the 21st century, rather than early 90s.

The only thing I didn't like was the game itself. It was a box. It didn't seem to be streaming from the sky like it used to (and frankly makes more sense if the User is always downloading them) and it was transparent. Why was it transparent? It can't be transparent. D:

BUT: I'm hoping that maybe one of these games will spoof a strategy game like Starcraft. :3 Hurr.

The new game cube really ~ really bothered me too..

I'm quite against it. I hope that there is a small chance that they'll continue with the long descending cube...

Since none of the original creators are involved, I'm doubtful. I need moer footage to be convinced whether it will be good or not.

Is that official? D: I thought we hadn't heard any real word on that yet. If that's true...I'm going to be very sad...

Just the fact that they've put together a teaser, if it's only seconds long, gives me hope. I really thought the whole Revival was just empty words, but they still have to sell it to me. C'mon! Pin down a writer and start assembling some actors and concept art! I live for that kind of stuff!

if that's mainframe then they must of got a serious upgrade...i can't wait to see how everyone looks...i hope they don't expire there resources or material of the show...it would really suck if they don't at least make another 2 seasons of ReBoot after the film trilogy...also, I wonder what the games will be based off of...RPG type games would be cool but probably a little too long but I can't wait...hopefully they'll have an extended version of the trailer and we get to see some action and the characters...

also where can I read the webcomic...this site doesn't work when I try to click on Paradigm Lost...any help would be greatly appreciated and also where can I check out the new characters like Vector

I dunno, I like how it's more futuristic looking than the original mainframe, but at the same time it just doesn't look as interesting. I think instead of the buildings being square they should have many different shapes like they did in the show. It can be somewhat dark but I was thinking it would have a slight web 2.0 or should I say computer 2.0 feel, everything polished and with faded colors, but still have a darker edge to it. and slightly warn down like the inside of a computer might be after even the first week. Also the game should definitely not be transparent, because that would pose to much questions.
