I seem to recall that the Twin City was supposed to have been another computer, closely networked with Mainframe (something kin to a home LAN I suppose). That would explain why the Principal office didn't have a backup.
Unfortunately it wouldn't explain why Lost Angles stayed around...
I believe the Twin City _did_ have a principal office... that's where the ill-fated gateway experiment was taking place. It's just smaller than Mainframe's for some reason.
I figured the System Restore only went back to a certain point. This point seemed to be before Enzo's first birthday, but evidently after Wellman's experiment.
i always thought lost angles was a 2nd harddrive to the computer
musta gotten fried when a gigabytes worth of information came though
poor 90's computers
When the user backup Mainframe, it restored all the binomes lost since the last save. Obviously sometime between Twin City being destroyed and Enzo's birthday. (Think there's an error in continuity though, cos Bob mentions a save after Enzo's birthday.)
As for what Twin City is, I believe its part of the double memory that makes up the same computer/system that is Mainframe.

Yep, you guys are right. The Twin City did have a Principal Office. Wonder why the System Restore didn't go back that far. Shame really...

Wow! That's an interesting theory. I wonder how that would have played out.
Please wait ...
