ReBoot

So on my way to comic con 2010 last year i was wearing my reboot button as i stopped at my grandmothers (who is an amazing quilter) house. As i was there she saw my button and loved the design so she said she would make me the quilt if i designed it..... So here is what i have so far Reboot quilt just the center piece and a couple sketches so far but i don't know what i should do as far as the background goes. Oh and as for the marker sketch i put Dot's tattoo on top border.

So if anyone has any suggestions i would be glad to see them

Hi everyone...

I've always noticed that the Spectral System (Where no sprite has never been before) and at some points you can see more buildings in the distance, which seem to be identical to the one in which they are in.

I've always wondered if its another system or something like a twin city like Mainframe had? Any thoughts?

If the creators created some comic books, from Reboot, would you get them.  Maybe it can be something like the Ani-Manga books, that are everywhere now.

A list of three eppisodes per book could be in the books, an actual explanation of the timeline, and maybe for those who don't understand the language, a what does this mean page, of what the characters are saying.

Don't got me wrong, the web-comic was nice, but it wasn't up to what I standerized Reboot to be.

Hi, I'm fairly new to the forums but have been watching reboot since it was originally on YTV back in the 90's and am still HOPING for a TRUE REVIVAL. Anyways, as I was sitting back watching the episode "end prog" In season 3 I thought to go see if there were any online petitions in an attempt to get our voices heard on reboot coming back the way we want it.-like it was. I hear that the original creators already had ideas and or some writing done for the events following "My two bobs" and that the webcomic does their ideas no justice.

If it garners enough interest around here i can have a petition circulating in the next few days. or some other member can go ahead and beat me to it.

I have noticed that in the series a number of Viruses were mentioned, but each one had a different shape.  There were six catagories that I noticed, which are:

Human-like: Powerlock

Tear-like: Spectral Virus

Bug: Praying Mantis Virus

Machine: Killabyte, Gigabyte, and Megabyte

Clock: Daemon

Clown-god: Hexadecimal

If they had continued the series, what type of virus(s) do you think would have appeared (in other words, what shape) after Megabyte?

Ok, well i hava been watching ReBoot since i was like 4-5 years old, and im 15 now. I don't remember all the episodes, so i bought all 4 seasons of Reboot on dvd. when i got to the final episode, i was a bit disappointed at the sliff hanger ending. Because of that, i keep wanting to know what happens and i feel incomplete until i know what happens. i know that you may think there;s no money in bringing back ReBoot because its expensive, but i have some ideas. they sound good to me, but i don't know for you. I think you should do 1 or 2 more seasons of Reboot to end it properlly, and then make 5 or 6 movies.(one for each season). You can take all the ideas from each season, and make a movie. I dont think that it should cost tooo much because you have all the idea, and all the animations. all you need to do is put them together into a movie. for the movie, you should not change the storyline too much, keep it similar but not exa...

This may not have been mentioned already. Amazon is selling both the DVDs and digital format of ReBoot. Has anyone purchased the digital format of it? I've heard about the quality issues of the DVDs. So I'm interested in just buying the digital format itself.

If you could take an item from Reboot, and make it real, which would it be?

The video on youtube by Glitchbob productions that featured mainframes crash? It was a sort of tribute, i really liked it, and now I can't find it online...

What was your single favourite moment of the whole show?

Mine would be tie between:
a, Rocky The Rabid Racoon & the other users in Mainframe.
b, Hack and Slash, either "We're going to make it" or "There is no no.4 walk Nibbles" where they scream cos the lost him.
c, "It's the ABC's, they've turned on us!" "Treacherous Dogs!"

Sorry I haven't been good about doing my post every few days. School has been keeping me too busy to really do much online.  However, I should be winding down again here soon, so time to do posts again.

Ehhh hem, If you could combined an aspect of Reboot into your life what would it be?  I.E. if you could choose one thing from Reboot to be true in real life what would it be?

I had a post similar to this a couple months ago BUT I ordered something from the reboot store back in January and I have never received it. I payed $10 for it....

While it's not a lot of money, it's $10 I don't have anymore and I feel quite ripped off.

Right we all know that no-one could have known the other Bob was really Megabyte, but Dot technically through Bob away for a newer model (even if it hadn't have been Megabyte), plus she did it while he was lying in what I take as Reboot's version of a coma. So my question is this. Do you think Bob should forgive Dot?

In "The Crimson Binome" Bob just tried to pick up Glitch, but in "Painted Windows" he called Glitch.  Would someone explain why that happened, when he could have called Glitch, and avoided Princess Bula in "The Crimson Binonme?"

Okay, I'm having a bit of a brain dead moment and can't think of a topic, so what I'm going to do instead is start an open ended topic.  What is the first thing to come to your mind when thinking of Reboot?

What drew you into enjoying Reboot?  Basically, why do you enjoy Reboot?

For me, it was a cool show on Toonami when I was growing up.  However, it has been awhile since Reboot was on Toonami.  A year and a half ago I re-watched the show, and I found it even better since I could understand a lot of the jargon in the show along with the underlying humor that I didn't understand when I was 8.

So that is what has drawn me into Reboot, so now it your turn to tell what drew you into the show.

so apparently its still happening, i think is the only proof right now that its still happening.

I saw a few days ago a reboot to real time conversion...simply put, what a second is in the reboot world and a cycle and a nanosecond. All that good stuff but now I can't remember where I found it and I've recently come into a desire/need to know. Help please?

How does the leveling work on here. I'm at level 2, and curious how many points I need to get to the next level, and the subsequent levels.

My favourite show is reboot like most of you, but my second favourite show is avatar the last airbender. this might sound crazy but i would laugh if somehow they merge both tv show together.  it would probably fail but it could be very creative, like little enzo becomes the avatar and is master of all elements while he has to save mainframe.  Megabite could be the firelord and etc..

this would be cool but would never happen but it could be an interesting game cube that they would play.

Curiosity question here, who would be a good match up in a fight, and who would win?  Fight can be composed of a 1 on 1 or an all out brawl.

So, for anyone who is interested I went and found that ReBoot can be found on TeletoonRetro at 2:30pm weekdays. For me, Rogers Cable, it's on channel 284. perhaps everyone is already aware but in case that is not the situation I hope this helps someone to remember the good ol' days.

all i have to say is that althogh i really appreciate them selling the old toys and bringing stuff back for us, they could have at least gotten better quality service

I am really excited about reboot the film(s) comming soon to theaters...but I am also really interesting in seeing where the rest of the Reboot franchise is going to go from here...

Rainmaker just released the first 2 seasons on DVD and the reboot engine seems to be up and running once again...

Will they ever re-release classic toys or even newer ones based on the latest seasons?  (I would really want to get my hands on a trojan horse megabyte or hexidecimal with the robotic styled implants)... and what ever happened to the second binome collection that was supposed to come out along side the first wave of binomes?

Reboot is still the best show, not to mention its Canadian... The film is going to be great no matter what, but I still have some concerns about the style.  As seen from the test clip (that can be seen from Rainmaker's home website), the face of this character (obviously BOB) looks completely different from what seen in t...

Does anyone know if there is a chat engine for this site? I think it would be pretty cool to set up some sort of chat engine on here so that you could talk personally with individuals about Reboot.

My favorite character would have to be little Enzo.  As for the why, why not?  He was the coolest kid ever and I acted just like him when I was a kid, and to this day I still find myself repeating some of his catchphrases.
This is a tough one for me because I loved all of the seasons, but if I had to pick a favorite season I would have to say it would be Season 2. Mainly since it brought in the full cast and it starts the whole plot for the web wars which was amazing!

And then as a curiosity for me, has anyone heard anything new about the movies?  I've been looking up for info and so far I haven't found anything heartwarming about the movie production. I've gotten the opinion that the movies most likely won't be made.

Hello, welcome to the Unofficial guide to driving your Armored B Carrier!
well lets get started
The Armored B Carrier is a hybrid between a Tank/Armored Personal Carrier/Hovercraft/Airship,
The ABC's main thrust comes from the large turbine engines on the the sides, there are two seats in the side,

• the left: drivers side, (the one with a hatch above it) the drivers controls consist of two throttles on pushes left, another right
  
• Note on the Left of the Drivers Seat there are two control panels
  
• The Bottom one controls the back door (green for open, Red for close)
  
• The Top one controls the above Pilots/Commanders Hatch (green for Unlock, red for Lock)
  
• there is a computer radar screen, and two more joysticks ahead of that

I was just wondering if this game is considered canon and in continuity with the show?  I have an opportunity to get a copy.

Also, is it any good?

Sorry if there's a thread on this already, but I'm at work and don't have time to go searching.

I was wondering if I should pick up the Season 1 & 2 Boxset and get 3 & 4 when they come out, or just wait for the Definitive Edition. 

The reason I haven't picked up the Season 1 & 2 boxset yet is I heard the Special Features were different on the Definitive Complete series set.  Can somebody set me straight on this.  Specifically, I've heard the Complete Series set has more audio commentaries on it, and I'm a sucker for those.

What are the differences, if any?

Did anyone else have the same glitch in The Tiff during the argument with Bob and Dot in the Diner? 

The voices suddenly cut off at that point, and then just started back up after the argument.

Dude, has anyone posted these before? because I've never seen them. These are a couple concept art pieces from a company that were created WAY back when Rainmaker first announced the comeback I guess. Finding this got me pretty stoked, but I wish there were more. hey i ve been watching the ol show again and on the episode 3X04 Game over frisket has the guardian icon.  at the end when AndrAIa changes her pid and frisket's i noticed his thing was the guardian one.  i m not sure if it was a little mess up from the site but it was pretty funny. 

Ps lately i ve been watching the show on teletoon retro and i noticed even some random binomes have the guardian pid instead of the regular one.

I knew i would be the first to get it......but not this quick.....

I saw the TRON LEGACY movie and althought it was pretty amazing (I also saw the original TRON 1982) I think REBOOT recreates better how could it be the world inside a computer!!! TRON is fantastic... but REBOOT movie would be believable!!!

The Armored Binome Carrier, the BEST Villain Asset of Megabyte's Armor Division

After the Takeover over Ghetty Prime, Megabyte Built These Tanks to aid the takeover of Mainframe. these are one of the most underestimated things that made Reboot awesome, they were the ones to block bob from entering a game cube, formed a defensive grid to stop Hexadecimal (though failed) and have done just about everything from Attacking the Principal Office to Going into the "Microscopic" level of Sprite Biology. lest we forget the astonishing appearance they made in Identity Crisis
