ReBoot

The first chapter of the fanfiction I have been talking about is now up and ready for comments.  For those of you who don't like Sci-fi it has very little Sci-fi in it, but I had to choose a category, and it did not have much of a selection.  In fact the little Sci-fi is at the very end of the story.  It takes place at the beginning of "The Hunt" with a new enemy.  Anyways, heres the site:

Everyone seems to be under the impression, that Rainmaker will go into the Future, but how about going in the opposite direction? 

The story sort of skimmed on some things, but didn't exactly put out too much detail on the Past.  What I see follows:

IV.  How Turbo became Prime Guardian!

IX. How Mouse escaped from the Guardian Justice System and the Saucy Mare!

X.  When Mr. Pearson appeared in Mainframe!

XII.  The Story of where Ray Tracer came from!

XIII.  Bob's training by Dixon Green!...

Just curious if anybody has, knows somebody that has or knows where i could get my hands on a picture, scan or (very very good and clear) screenshot of the tattoo on (adult) Enzo's shoulder.

To be frank, i've been watching the show more and more lately, and every time i see that tattoo theres a voice in my head that tells me i need to get my hands on that design. Possible future tattoo for myself? I think so.

There was an original scan of the tattoo given to a friend of a friend of an acquaintance by a Mainframe Entertainment years ago (back when it was still Mainframe Ent.) but unfortunately has since been lost.

I could always just google it, but i want to be sure what i have is the official thing, rather than something a fan came up with that may or may not be the same design.

Rainmaker doesn't seem like they've completely got their gig together. I've seen the posts about the copyright issues, hastily targeting non-profit fansites, and taking way too long to process orders for the phone app.

But as far as the delay for Reboot movie production itself goes, here's some information that might give fans hope that they still intend to do the movie, even though they have not mentioned its progress.

Rainmaker is a baby struggling to be born into the feature film industry. A studio designed for Television and Direct-to-DVD cannot compare with the demands for a Feature film blockbuster hit. And It takes time to buy software, resources and find talent to expand their studio to meet those high standards.

Have you seen their previous films like "the Nutty Professor 2" and the Barbie movies? Everything... The writing, character designs, storyboarding, and graphics are mediocre for today's standards at best.

I find it really annoying that there's no way of getting hold of the Definitive Mainframe Edition for us that live outside of America and Canada!
I couldn't believe it when i tried to order it a few weeks back only to have my hopes crushed at them not being able to ship it! What are we meant to do...we've already waited years to have every episode in one place and i don't want to have to buy the series as two separate DVD's even though i will if it comes to it!
Does anybody know if the set is going to be released in the UK at any point?
It wouldn't surprise me if it doesn't....i still have the original video of the first two episodes and the dvd of the fourth season as well as all my toys and the original set of pencils....and the mighty max style toys...and the art book etc!!
I adore this series and so do many many other people outside of the US.....so why do we not get anything?!

I have been looking everywhere for the last 2 years on and off and i have found websites saying that they are to continue the story and make a film. But i have found nothing yet to confirm this other then a trailer that anyone could of made. So is there a film or series in the making? this question has probably been asked several times sorry if it annoys people by asking it.

Plus who would you want to take over the role of megabyte? I thought tony jay RIP did an splendid job as megabyte and made the series for me. the only actor i think that can pull it off is steven fry.

Have you heard any news about the movies since a FAN pointed out both the "Warning Incoming Game" teaser, and that brief glimpse of what appeared to be a Guardian ReBoot character in the "Have a peek inside the studio" video (both which are no longer to be found anywhere on rainmaker.com)?

Happen to see anything besides the "Retro Reel" (this has been "Coming Soon" since September 2010) on the project page of rainmaker.com which has an image of the Season 1 crew, to indicate Rainmaker is doing anything with ReBoot (aside from the recent DVD releases)?

2. Megabyte killing Mainframe

3. Any of the three main couples not getting together

4. I really don't know if I want Turbo deleted, but he shouldn't be out of the picture completely, either

I would like to see:

1.  A Christmas episode somewhere, but probably not a Game Cube

2. Megabyte turned into a punching bag for Matrix

3. A Sci-fi area of time travel, that reveals that in the future Bob and Dot's child and Mouse and Ray's child love each other

4. A few dinosaurs somewhere

Just been checking out some screenshots that I've had lying about, and I've just noticed that Frisket's got a gold fang on the bottom-right hand side of his jaw. 
Am I just slow in picking up these things? Reckon it's something worth speculating about, or just something that's pretty awesome?

I've always been one to enjoy Sci-fi adventures, especially those dealing with the Future, like Back to the Future Trillogy; I'm just hoping Rainmaker will add a little of that into Reboot.

I know that some don't like Sci-fi, but some do, so maybe just a little will do.  I hope the timeline, if there is one, will allow for a future generation to come to the past. 

How long was it exactly, from the time Bob was launched into the Web by Megabyte, to the time the Saucy Mare came back to Mainframe with Bob, Matrix, AndrAla, etc...

Shout Factory's website forum, "Shout Factory only has domestic, North

I need some help please. So i just came here hopping i can get the finished story. since they basically....stopped, with that second movie they made. i heard they made like a webcomic or something to finish it off? please, i want to know the full story! >_<

What would you like to see take place in Reboot?

1.  I'd like to see Megabyte turned into a punching bag and given to Matrix.

2.  I'd also like to see a benign virus appear, but not like Hex.  One willing to delete all viruses, even though it knows that once the last virus is deleted it will be deleted as well. 

3.  Bob and Dot's daughter get together with a Mouse and Ray son.

4.  Another game sprite appearance, maybe one that is a cat, with human-like appearance.

So I'd say it's at least.......once every two months that I visit this site.  I havent done anything productive since they stopped sending me questionnaires through the email.  But I filled them all out.  All what, five of them?  I think there were five.  Maybe three.
Anyways, I need some sort of reward for coming back to this site.  I want to see something reboot being created.  Movie, new comics, whatever.  I love this show, it is on par with the Star Wars universe in my opinion.  Or at least it holds the potential.  Twenty two years old, and I still have a part of my subconsciousness linked to this series.
Are we holding out for a 3D release now?  Because an update like that would at least keep me dreaming.  I wouldnt even mind seeing this when I'm thirty.

My daughter and I just found this site today!  As soon as the home page loaded she started yelling "Wanna REBOOT!"  She's two years old and already addicted to the show!  We've watched seasons 1-4 so many times I stopped counting!  She just loves Frisket and and AndrAIa!

In Season four it mentions Hexadecimal a lot, but what happened to Scuzzy?

Did anyone notice, that in Season One, at least, Bob had two icons?  One on his chest, the other on his boot.  What's up with that?

I'm sure, with a bit of effort and the appropriate accent, that this guy (whoever he is) could pull off a satisfactory Megabyte voice. He's got the right tones and that deep, growly baritone.

If Rainmaker decides to keep Megabyte in the ReBoot revival effort, they should definitely look this guy up and see if he's interested in carrying on Tony Jay's legacy of voicing the enigmatic virus.

After much speculation on my part, I have decided I should prolly be a little more active in my quest for building a ReBoot based RP. Currently I am in the prospect or looking for people to join me. I currently have a website set up at Reboot:Mainframe

So far everything is kinda in the development but I do have a point of reference. I'm sticking it to an IRC base since it is effective on systems that are not up to today's quality. This being said drop by the site or PM me here. As soon as I get a new RP server set up I'll post about it. I might just go back to darkmyst since I have all the FAQ'S on the site based on that.

If you looking for a more active role then Role Playing I could always use help in management and all that Hoopla.

After all I've read in the forums, I've noticed a pattern of unrest when it comes to how the new story should go and the fact that, while really cool, the comic did not fully obtain true ReBoot quality.  Alot of us are now wondering if a new series or movie would even be a good idea since alot of us seem to feel that there's great possibility for a complete and total screw-up.  I feel it begs the question, WHERE THE JUNK ARE THE ORIGINAL CREATORS!!!  Gavin Blair, Ian Pearson, Phil Mitchell and John Grace, I'm talkin to you guys, please hear our cries, and save the ReBoot world from  annihilation at the hands of new creators who would want to see a rebirth based on their own ideas and not the ideals that represent the heart of ReBoot awesomness!!!

I created this a few years ago and wanted to share it.

It uses vocals by an artist called Canibus, one of the Greatest and Deepest lyrical minds in the underground hip-hop world. His album Rip the Jacker came out shortly after i had gotten hold of all the ReBoot episodes (I live UK we wernt able to get the whole series) and literally I wanted to do something like this ever since.

This guy is a legend and created a 1000 bar Acapella for his fans to use and basically anyone to use which could be chopped re-arranged and remade into over a billion songs, he is truly a genius and is not given enough credit.

Anyway I took my love for his philosophical words and entertaining conspiratorial attitude and melded them with the fight scene between Andraia the Guardian.

Season 3 changed my life literally those 9 or so years ago when i first saw it.

The love between AndrAIa and Matrix was very Romantic and on Par with...

I'm sure you all remember the two-part episode "Identity Crisis" at the end of season 1, and the Game that played a large role in its story? That Game, the Fun House, is now one of my favorite Games, and I liked it how its User entered Mainframe during "System Crash" in season 3.

But as some of you may already know (by reading my posts or comments) I litterally grew up with ReBoot which is one of the many reasons I love it so much. Anyway, because of the Fun House and some other small but unimportant reasons, I think clowns are creepy, instead of funny. No matter where I go, I can't seem to enjoy a clowns' act... What is this now? I'm having this weirdest feeling of deja vu and I don't get why. LOL.

But, say, do any of you got thoughts on things like this? I mean, the Fun House changed something in my life (it may be small, but OK...), in my example it was something bad, but give me a break. I was like 3 years old then! So have any of you experienced anything like this,...

so i went to someone else's profile that says that they just reached level 3, and they have 100 less exp than i do, but i'm still at level 2. does anyone know why that is? is there something i need to do so that i can level up? Just wondering...

I just learned about the revival after watching Reboot for the dozenth time and one of the notes was about the comic, and so i I just read it. I have to say it was decent, but not really *good*. It seems like a smooth transition from 3D to 2D, but not from TV to text. Half of what was great about Reboot were the great voice actors and slap-stick gags. I mean, Reboot even when it became serious, had funny moments, but the comic didn't have that many. And from what I understand, this had fan input? I didn't really understand that part of how it was created, but it just felt like the problem with a lot of amateur writing where it wasn't detailed enough. I'm an English major and writing student so I'm a harsh judge of any text (maybe too much so) but I've read comics (western and manga and such), reviewed TV and film, and pretty much all creative mediums at some point and I say this only so you'll take some weight with my opinion, but the style it was told was very similar to most amateur ...

So I was watching the ReBoot series for what seemed like the 100th time, and I noticed that in seasons 1 and 2 that there are episodes where Bob will be wearing what looks like the cadet pants that Matrix also wears (but with knee pads), and there are times in the same episodes where Bob will be wearing the normal guardian pants again.  Either that or the red line on his pants just pops in whenever it likes.  Does anyone else notice this?

Has anyone noticed the ReBoot nod in Fallout 3? My daughter found a small diner in the center of town called Dot's Diner...complete with checkerboard floor, Cecil's bar (alas, no barstools!) and a huge Dot's Diner sign outside!           Stay Frosty!

It's just a hunch but I get the feeling we haven't seen the last of our favorite chaos queen.

So i was signed out of my account and looking at other peoples accounts, and noticed something weird. My account and everyone else's who has been part of the community for a long time says that they joined on july 27, 2009. is that how anyone else's is? i'm pretty sure i've been part of this for longer than that. was there an update or something i missed that reset everyone's join date to that day? i have been offline from this website for a while and just started coming back again this summer since i have been so busy with college and football. Anyone else notice this? or is it just a coincidence? or am i just going crazy? haha
