Season 4 cliff-hanger:

Any show that ends on a cliff-hanger always leaves a lingering sense of intrigue.  People naturally wonder what is going to happen, and who doesn't like gabbing with their friends by the water cooler about who they think killed who, or how the story would/should/could end.  Such is also true with the Reboot finale.  Could they have conveniently picked a more dramatic place to stop the series? Simple answer: yes, they could have.  Imagine if they stopped the show right after Daemon's hour glass ran out and her infection across the entire net became complete.   That sure would get a few riots out of the masses.  The "would've/should've/could've's" that you are about to read are going to come from two perspectives: the part of me that is a comic book writer, who feels and thinks what a good story should entail... then we have the obsessive kid who worked at a grocery store and woul...

So this only took me forever and a day to finish.  :P My last blog entry was asking for opinions so I could redesign the 2.0 pitch's Bob and Dot, which I started on right away- but the very next night something unknown struck me and I was pretty horribly sick.  So it's taken me a bit to get back into the swing of things. 


I realize  the 2.0 pitch is pretty much dead in the water at this point anyway, but I was determined to follow through, dernit.  XD; So, here it is, with further explanation to follow.

All right, I can't do any more full comic pages— I'm beat and I have summer homework to do all this weekend. But I still want to submit something, so I'll just be posting little snippets of the Arrival dialogue, or what I think are the most important parts of it.

Prof. wanted to see some of the mushy stuff between Bob and Dot, so here you go! Just a quick snapshot. Again, no major redesigns. Bob sure looks emo, doesn't he?

I gave Dot earrings. So nyah! I've always wanted to.

Next is the Mainframe skyline, all battered up.

You know, as much as I love the whole Hex-Bob crazy I'll-kill-you relationship, Dot and Bob are... pretty cute together...

One of the things that has come up over the course of the discussion of Arrival is the notion of a new character who is a spyware program. Such a character, it was supposed, would rival Mike the T.V. in annoyingness and would make a great comic relief. Also, the character should come in the form of a gnat (guh-nat).

So, I came up with this design I call Spy, the spyware fly. What do you think?

Enzo was trapped. Not in a cage but in his own processor, surrounded by the darkness. Enzo could barely fight off the encroaching darkness and only when the Avatar code let its guard down could he for a few precious nanos could he take control. Gnosis would the retake control and Enzo would submerge into the pool of darkness, unable to control his own body. Each time this happened Enzo would drift farther and farther into the darkness and lose consciousness.

Dot felt her knees go week. Enzo was facing Bob, with black claws extending from his fingertips, similar to AndrAIa's retractable nails. A barrier, produced by Glitch separated the two keeping the two Guardians separated. Tears started to roll slowly down Dot's cheeks.
