Opinion on the trailers
Posted in The Movie We Want, 11 months ago
Read More...I want someone to take the ReBoot universe and do with it what Tim Burton did to the Batman universe in 1987.
So please, pretty-please-with-sugar-on-top, Rainmaker, don't go Pixar on ReBoot! There are plenty of kids' CGI movies every year, we don't need another one! You guys hated the ABC BSnP, don't bring them back!
I liked very, very much the trailer with the game cube descending on the city. That was a science-fiction movie setting. However, I didn't like the "Loading Guardian" trailer that much. The guardian there just isn't Bob. He would be perfect for the clean-cut, adult Turbo though.
There are many clean cut, father-figure-like heroes in fiction, from Captain America to Superman. Bob isn't that. Bob is young, impulsive, alive, almost an anti-hero. In season one, I give him between ages 17 and 22. In season three, he was older, more mature but was more of a mentor to Matrix than a hero himself. Season one Bob was not unlike the TMNTs, a teenage hero the fan...

Rainmaker: Why do you i...

Read More...I'm sick of this BS your company has been feeding us for a few years now. Where is the new reboot series? Can you at least show us what we should expect? A trailer maybe? A due date?
It's companies like you that I hate. Drain every single drop of money possible from work you have not done yourselves and promise the world to the fans so that they buy your "not-even-your" products to compensate for the losses your incompetent company has spread throughout the previous years. Keep delaying and you will see that every dollar you make with merchandise that you didn't even create will be a dollar you will lose tomorrow.
I wish the worst for you Rainmaker.
Sincerely,
A Reboot fan -

Spambots

Read More...I have no proper place to post this, but.... there has been a definite increase in the spambot postage on this site.
I have flagged as much as I can, but something more needs to be done.
Z2H, Rainmaker... you need to give us "Guardians" more administrative abilities, unless you want this site to become nothing but junk filled with endless spam advertisements. -

Icons 101: The differen...

Read More...I decided to write this during lunch because even I get confused and I want to clarify for the different pitchers the difference in Icon/ PID structure. Thought the series PID shape and colors have changed for different reasons, some not given.
Guardian Icon: Black triangle, yellow semi circle on top. Yellow triangle, black semi circle on bottom. The icon is rounded not flat. I'm concerned this shape deference is being overlooked.
Standard sprite icon: White triangle, black semi circle on top. Black triangle, white semi circle on bottom. Example: Enzo Matrix. This is not to be confused with Dot Matrix who's colors are reversed only in cetain modes. One her armor outfits the colors are reversed. In more civilian clothing, its the same as Enzo's. That means its up to you to decide how her icon should be flipped depending on the situation.
Viral icon: Black triangle with green semi circle on top, green ...
