*sigh*
Look, why aren't people getting this..........
The designs, stories, worlds, etc....... ARE NOT SET IN STONE!
They have FAN INPUT so they can tweak it around to your suggestions! Don't like Bob's look in story 'A', draw your own verison and upload it!
I'd love for them to go straight to producing more of the series right off the bat, but they can't.
Why?
Because while Rainmaker KNOWS there's a fanbase and a market, the investors (people who will give them money) don't. They need RECENT data to show the investors in black and white (and maybe some pretty color pie charts and graphs) that they wouldn't be wasting their money in this market!
Know how they get that data?
Zeros 2 Heroes! Every person who signs up and is active gives them the data they'll need to show the investors when the time comes!
Sorry about the 'rant'.
I'm just getting a bit tired of having to say that speech to everyone.... though I do fully understand the "WHOA! What in the Net is this?!" response.
I've been so bogged down by doing the above, I haven't had the time to fully read each story. :(

So...we shouldn't give feedback if we don't like something? I'm confused now...

What if we do like it? Can we give feedback then? ;)

No WeBViRuS, you SHOULD give them feedback if you do/don't like something.
I never said NOT to give feedback if you didn't like it, where'd you get that idea?
I don't see how my entry confused you... I thought it was direct.

Hang in there GB, I know how you are feeling, I've been kind of giving the same speech myself. Feedback is fine guys, but give constructive criticism instead of saying 'It sucks!' or 'Its not ReBoot!' or 'It doesn't fit in with the end of Season 4'. I'm kind of tired of seeing those same responses appear in the comments on each of the stories. I really would like to see fans come into this with an open mind rather than just the expectation that this is all there is.
Keep it up GB, we're in there supporting you! ^^b

Thanks for bringing reason GlitchBob and I think most of us are just scared by what we have seen. Some are good, some are bad. Hopefully things will get better.

Hey GlitchBob,
There are a lot of redundant "I want Reboot to be like it was when I was 14" responses, it's true, but what's more important is the fact that THERE ARE A LOT OF RESPONSES.
It's noble of you to feel like it's your responsibility to make all of us fans feel good about the Revial. I honestly respect that a good deal; you seem to really want for the fans to be happy, the writers to be happy and the investors to be happy all at once, and I believe your motivations are exceedingly pure. I understand that you're frustrated, but I just want to gently remind you that a lot of emotion has been stirred up today in hundreds of loyal fans, and we're not all going to have the sanest outbursts.
Personally, I found it very easy to rip on just just about every part of every story that was introduced. I felt I had the right because the characters in ReBoot have grown in me for over half of my life. Looking back, my smart-ass, doomsday comments probably did more bad than good, but I felt a powerful emotional resonance with every instance in where things weren't perfect. I feel bad about what I said, but not about why I felt it.
You're absolutely right about 'things not being set in stone'. I feel better about all of this having you involved, I honestly believe that you're going to work as hard as you can to make this work as well as it possibly can. I would like to help too, and hopefully you'll be someone I can talk to as the work progresses? I have a lot of ideas for what could happen with the characters and I'm sure that you do too, and hopefully as time goes on more and more good ideas will air out.
Anyway, keep your head up! We all appreciate what you've done and expect a lot from you in the time to come.
