Enzo Matrix goes Avatar: Hopefully more Captain Picard then ...

As we await the voting to come in I decided to bring up the decision to turn Young Enzo into an Avatar. I am not totally turned off on the idea but I am concerned how it gets handled.


Two examples come to mind. The first is Captain Picard being turned into a Borg in the two part The Best of Both Worlds. The captain is fully assumulated and seems unable to fight the control until Data taps into his mind with a neural link. The deepest parts of Picard mind are able to give Data the information they need to stop the Borg. The Captain recovers but must learn to deal with what he did under the control of the Borg.
