Wake me up when September ends

1 Like This

I'm taking a risk blogging this since you never know what you'll run into blogging but I have to do this. It's my yearly therapy.

I work in Manhattan, the only place I'm known to work since I graduated college. I always took it for granted. In high school I had the honor of drawing the Manhattan skyline for an special certificate of accomplishment. I still have a copy somewhere.

Strong winds *should* move buildings. Those that don't bend, break. As the Tao Te Ching puts it, 'the tree is easily broken, which refuses to yield'.

I forgot it was that time of the year again. I guess living in a foreign country for 3 months has that affect.
Here in Japan, at the moment it actually is September 11th. Being in the "future" is kinda interesting.

Raws - I just got back from 6 months in Korea. Being in the future could be pretty annoying, particularly the online aspect.

rek- I agree. There is also the thing where I have to wait an "extra" day to download new episodes of my favorite shows. It sucks really. D=

That was definitely part of it.

The Towers moved far more then the Empire Stae Building. I worked on the 82nd floor of the Empire State Building. My friend Kim also knew someone who worked in the The Towers. The mistake was made while it was being built. And I don't blame peope for not wanting to work in the Sears Tower in Chicago either, since the structure was built the same way.

I knew someone, who was a teacher near there, she used to teach me and a friend at the local High School here in Texas, and then I heard, that she started teaching near the twin towers, but even though I wasn't able to find out how she felt, I know she wasn't killed. The local schools near the twin towers, were the first to leave the area I believe. We always called her, Coach B. or B' da Bees!
