New Year's Wish for Zeros 2 Heroes Success

Hey!

I stopped by to say I hope all of you trying to submit ideas for comics are doing well and although my taste is different in comic books, that each of you have some kind of success in the New Year especially Zeros 2 Heroes.

We need more small comic companies to fill the growing void of frustrated fans who feel abandoned. I read some of the responses to Marvel's wonderful decision to erase Peter Parker's marriage from existence. Marvel does Dallas! I'm referring to the TV show that made an entire season of the show a dream. But this isn't any dream. Now fans are looking at dozens of comic book that didn't happen. Great idea guys! Why not kill Captain America while your at it? Oops...

Anyway my friend form college Mike vowed long ago never to buy a Marvel or DC title ever again before this happened. He still buys comics. From Dark Horse! I remembered them as a start up.

I can't say how Zeros 2 Heroes will fair but its nice to know they want to try. We need a new start up real bad. And a new story to be as successful as Spiderman was.

I agree that erasing Peter Parker's marriage was dumb, and the way they did it was lazy and ham-handed. A breakup of a marriage is a situation that just oozes personal drama and turmoil... what an opportunity they missed.

Cap's death however was just a big bowl of awesome, and if you are reading Brubaker's run on it, you will see that it is still fueling a lot of great drama.

I spoke to my friend Mike today and his comment on the issue of Spiderman was that it should be burned.

As for Cap, I can see how it would make for nice drama. I don't know how you feel about what was done to Hal Jordan, but I guess Cap story might be being handled far better.

Bringing Hal Jordan seems to be working out for DC, but I think it's stupid, from a story perspective.

I haven't read any of the Spider-Man comics and I am not planning to. I love Spider-Man, but that whole erase MJ and Peter's wedding thing sounds stupid.

I have read some books from Dark Horse, but they disappointed me after the republishing the whole Gor books. I read an excerpt from that book and I felt sick.

I dont think Z2H will be in danger of doing that stuff. It is unique that fans can create and put input on shows and comics.
