ReBoot

I also really like Number 7, but my favorite still has to be Showdown.

So many characters get awesome moments in that episode: Matrix gets to beat up on Megabyte, Megabyte gets to beat up on Matrix, the Saucy Mare goes down with blazing style, Mouse gets to double-cross her double-crosser, Hex and Bob have their little demented tea party, Ray finally reappears, and... aw, heck, it's just all great. Lots of fun scenes add up to a great episode.

Second favorite has to be either Firewall or Showdown. Those are just FUN. Seeing Enzo finally rise up as a capable guardian and then fall, it's an interesting progression. And it's our last glimpse of a real, classic, parody-driven ReBoot for a while: when Enzo and AndrAIa get lost on the Net, it gets significantly less... fun. Still great, but I like that fun aspect to ReBoot.

Well, I for one love Painted Windows. Under the comedy there is an ultra hard edge which totally defines the chaos and conflict that is Hexadecimal.

The "Glitch, pull a file" scene is monumental. I remember watching it for the first time with an almost dramatic sense of tension, fear and empathy towards Hex which I still get everytime I watch it.

Perfect in everyway.

Oh, and I has a fracking H-U-G-E Skuzzy... you just can't go wrong with that!

ummm that's a tough one i really like talent night because of the last part when megabyte playing guitar and owns the crowd was so totally awesome^^ also web world wars was a great episode megabyte betrayed bob that then he got launched in the web a lot of action this one was really the best

Very hard question! I like a lot of them but my fave is Medusa Bug. Yes because it's a Hex episode but also because I love everything she says and how she says it. "Getting your sorry self outta trouble: Unknown" and how she is "not sure" if what she's doing is right and then laughs! Love it!

My favorite episode would have to be System Crash and End Prog. It truly does detail out an actual computer crashing due to too much damage. Remember in the episode MEGAFRAME, when Dot orders the Evacuation Code: 9713? In computer terms, that means: System error code 9713 means "Could not create DNS cache data." This error code may also display as "DNS_ERROR_NO_CREATE_CACHE_DATA" or as the value 0x25F1. System32 (IE The principal office war-room) has finally been invaded. Commands can't be sent out to the rest of the system. I loved it. And it also showed different areas of the city crashing to the ground. When your computer is infected and distablized to the point of damage, that episode (System Crash) really details what happens to a failing operating system. Also, in Eng Prog, it really detailed out good examples of a System Restart. An example of why the Twin City was never recovered could be because the system wasn't saved to the point where it could be recovered.

My favorite episode is Painted Windows. That was the episode I remembered the most after years of the show being off air. I love the art references, and it's a really great episode for Hexadecimal's character (not to mention her voice actress). And though I didn't really realize it until much later (when I'd seen all the episodes in continuum) it was the catalyst that led to .. pretty much everything else. That bit that Justice mentioned gets me every time as well.

I also enjoy Number 7 and Showdown, but Painted Windows is definitely my favorite.

personally i don't have A favorite because i love them all Reboot is an amazing show and will always hold a place in my heart it's prolly strange to love a show that much but it's a childhood Fav it was a one of a kind show hopefully rainmaker will resurrect my Favorite show a still have it the way i remember

I love the massive 'The Prisoner' pastiche that is 'Number 7'. I am also a big fan of the entirety of the last four episodes of S3 - with 'Showdown' and 'System Crash' being particular faves.

I do have a soft spot for 'Talent Night' (the guitar duel!) and 'Painted Windows' (Hex at her most delightfully demented)

I agree with others it is hard to pin a single favorite, but 2 that stand out for me were.
