I think these concept designs are fantastic and am hopeful that this style of animation is used in the new series/episodes. I do agree though that there should be some tweaks. Bob is too boyish (take a look at season 3/4 Bob is pretty rugged as you'd expect him to be without being overly macho-like matrix) and Dot is too bimbo-ish. She is like AndreAI - Too perfect. You aren't capturing he strong modern personality that all the fans love. Shorten her hair, prehaps chin length make the suit more sophisticated. Couple that up with a sexy pair of glasses (I never did like the round rimmed specs!) and I'm sure she'd be more accepted.
There are quite a few things the citizens of Mainframe do that doesn't really make sense, but that doesn't' mean they really need to change. Odd question: if the Sprites get upgraded to the armor look, what are the Binomes going to look like? They would look extra strange would be the answer I think.

I'll have you know I'm 100 percent in favor of the glasses. Why does she wear glasses some of the time and not others? doesn't really matter, must be a contact lens girl, or better yet the glasses aren't a correction to a visual impairment but rather advance her vision somehow. Yeah that's the ticket.
I other words expect me to make a bispeckled Dot soon.

Never ONCE did I think that was a mullet. It always looked like a surfer hair cut to me. And describing Bob's opinion on how to be prepared for things is very surferish. Just relax and go with the flow. There was a whole episode dedicated to how his laid back style and Dot's super planned out style of doing things clashed. I understand your explanations about the clothes but I must disagree. If you take away the clothes then a lot of the personality and identity of the characters goes away.
Imagine Captain Capacitor and the "pirates" of the Saucy Mare without pirate clothing. It wouldn't be right. So updating the clothing to look more computerized is fine... But leave them their dignity and their identities. Matrix wouldn't look nearly as BA without the leather boots and muscle shirt. And on a side note your update of Bob's Guardian uniform is pretty good but if you made it a little more clothing like and stuck to the original uniform colors it would be beautiful.
Now concerning Dot. I look at her and I'm confused out of my mind. I have trouble seeing the connection from old Dot to new. If you want to grow her hair out I say go for it. But at least keep the bangs in front of her face. Something from her old self that was cool.
I do not want anything from the origional Reboot (graphic wise)to change. Nor do I want characters from the origional ReBoot series to change or go away. I want the design to stay the same from the origional ReBoot, otherwise it will be something completely different and you might as well give the show a new name.
We all grew up with the characters and magnificent images and we want to re-connect with them again.
I want all of the characters to all be exactly the same and maybe introduce one or two new characters. I want to see how much they have grown and see their new upcoming challanges.
I think some things from the last series need to be established which werent established very well. I would like to see a little more romance in the series thsi time (when they arent fighting). I think that way you will attract different audiences and different age groups.
I have always loved the storyline between Matrix and AndrAIa and would love to see that expanded on a lot more. Maybe even see them have a child.
