That's a good point; she is an attention-grabbing design. At first, I'll admit, I thought you were redesigning AndrAIa because of the somewhat aquatic feel of her (harpoon, lobster boots). It's a really awesome concept design though!
It's a really cool design, but I don't think it fits Ether. Would be interesting to see these ideas incorporated into AndrAIa. Still... it grabs my attention... While I wasn't going to, I think I'll have to sit down and try my own hand at Ether.
On a side note, if you wanted to make Maxine into Ether, you could easily say that she was just undercover as a search engine (like a day job). With old man Pearson being a junkyard owner, I think it would fit the codemasters to kinda be scattered all over, hidden as normal sprites.
I think Maxine should just be forgotten about, in any show it's tiring to continually see recovered characters. Just 1 completely new one will make the story more interesting.
To be honest, I prefer the original design of Ether. I don't like this character design at all, it just doesn't fit anyone in a Reboot universe. I could just be picky.
I enjoy this fanart very much for the originality :)
however I would prefer Ether to actually look as sharp and snappy as she's supposed to act towards our heroes(from what we know)...and that means she should look a little bit more noble and high-minded for me...yeah and the bold head was somehow helping me to believe that characterization
This Ether fanart is very complex but I LOVE it. Problem is, I don't think it matches Ether's personality very much, which isn't so very important. I thought Ether was more woman than girl, though. If these were made to look a little older, they'd really work for me. Anyway, I'll wait and see what V2 has in store for us. ;)
