I don't know if this comment will be lost, especially since V3 is written, but it has been mentioned in another blog that Vector's motivation might be he's looking for a Hex mask and is after Hex's power.
Are you still having a powerless Hex ghost? Because that might be nice to have Hex's personality on the ship and Hex's power floating about in a mask somewhere.
Maybe when she fragmented herself one of her masks found its way into the web where, unlike the other masks, it survived.
I really like the idea of crashing the game/server. It's something that hasn't happened much in ReBoot, but when it does happen, it sure makes for a heck of a scene! Explosions, implosions, flying binomes... Seeing Bob and the others working with the Users to bring this endless game down would be neat to watch.

Ether would have to find a way to block their IP addresses or something to prevent them from coming back. But the idea of having to defeat every User... o__O that's a LOT of people... I'm not sure they could do it. I like the idea of mixing game types. ^_^ (Your english is very good! Just one thing-- the word is 'abilities,' not 'habilities.' (: )
I think the most plausible way to truly end the game and send all the Users back to their systems is to crash the game (server?). There's just too many Users. Hm.. as a twist they could try to increase the number of Users on at a given time in a given area so as to overload the server and crash the game. *doesn't know much about online games*

But yeah, back when people were discussing Vector's VA, I thought Quinton Flynn (Axel's VA) might be a decent choice, I just didn't want to say anything. See what you think.
Dude, if he must flirt, why not let him try it on Ether? I'd like to see her look disgusted and shoot him down every time... not literally of course.
One thing I like about AndrAIa, she's very open-minded and good at handling people gently, like with that Daemon-infected guardian who killed herself. She'd give Vector the benefit of the doubt and be willing to treat him like a regular person vs. just a virus. She'd be the one on the team trying to make them ACT like a team, the mediator.
Vector's MO is to be charming and win people's trust (from what I understand) and if he did any flirting with AndrAIa at all it would be very subtle, so Matrix would never have anything concrete to hold against him (other than being a virus and existing, of course). Example.. AndrAIa talks Matrix out of shooting Vector's head off one day, Vector flashes her a smile and says something like, 'Thanks, AndrAIa. I can always count on you.' *grin*
and that would be it.
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but since it concerns Matrix and AndrAIa I'll put it here. Professor WhizzyWig, I like how you once mentioned that Matrix and AndrAIa are the dependable couple and that their relationship will remain the same. I hope this hasn't changed in any new revisions. For them to have relationship problems at this point seems a bit unnecessary.
Since other people raised these ideas I'm not sure if you're going to use them, but if Vector does flirt with AndrAIa, I don't think she'd flirt back. It wouldn't make sense if what happened with Ray occurred again. If Vector doesn't flirt with AndrAIa (because he'd know not to anger Matrix), I don't think that AndrAIa would get close to him and act as if she likes him (even if it was just a ploy) without informing Matrix. I think TurboFool raised the idea that Matrix would be in on it and only be pretending to be jealous to fool Vector. That is a good idea, but then we'd still have to have a lot of scenes between AndrAIa and Vector. I would prefer to have more interaction between AndrAIa and Matrix.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing what you end up doing!
