Just a note: In our Arrival pitch, Glitch is definitely still a part of Bob's wrist. The holographic thing you're seeing is just a new kind of display we thought was cool.
By the way, did anyone notice that the hologram is actually the ReBoot icon, just shown in 3D. We thought that was a cool idea.
I proposed earlier that Glitch needs to have a larger role in the story, but most people balked at the idea of Glitch having a conventional "personality."
Glitch at one point did communicate with Bob, I forgot what episode it was that but it was really made glitch not just a dead tool thing. Its living thing itself. Even Turbo's Keytool communicate so it would make sense that Glitch is essential.

Glitch had a personality. It was said over and over again how sentinent keytools are.
In the episode with no name, Glitch was pretty happy on seeing Copeland again.

It's easy to say that without Bob, there probably wouldn't be Glitch either. I agree though. It's just as much a character as the rest.

The keytools have their own personalities. They choose the gurdians but not vice versa. Maybe Glitch for Bob is like Frisket fo Enzo and Matrix.
