Really nice work, I agree. A technical question about graphic display on the site though. Nobody else has mentioned it here, but the picture IS cut off on the right, isn't it? (I'm not the only one seeing that?)
So why did it do that, and how can I keep it from happening when I upload things? I've uploaded a couple things and they've come through just fine - at least they look fine in my browser. But there's this and I was talking w someone else a couple days ago who had a couple shots that weren't cropped, but had been stretched out of proportion somehow.
Is there anything we need to know about making the site play nice with graphics?
This is a truly brilliant piece of artwork overall. My two criticism are as follows:
1. His right shoulder seems to have dislocated.
2. His face doesn't hold quite the right expression for the overall happy feel of the piece. I don't mean, he should have a giant, goofy, clown smile going, I'm just saying put more expression on his face other than just in a smirk. Play with the eyebrows, eyes, etc.
That said, I repeat, great piece. It reminds me a bit of Leinil Yu. And, for a ten minute sketch, that just makes it even more impressive.
