Just to let you know I didn't draw this. This is Smartens redesign that I photoshopped crudely just to show that Glasses and shorter hair wouldn't be terrible. I didn't put mush work into it but it was just an example of how long I think Dots hair should be. I imagine smartens version would be a lot sexier but this was done at 5am in 15 mins! :-P
I'm not torn about her hair length at all. Short. Dot always looked very crisp and sharp. The long hair made her look like she'd stumbled out of a comic book. I also really like these glasses on her. Remember, Dot is all about business. I can't see her putting up with long hair. After a couple days of pushing it back while she was bent over her PDA and files, I think she'd chop it all off.
I'm torn between the two styles of hair, though I do like the glasses. Her icon is pink though. Did her status change or is it because she's a girl? Unusual colors and upside down ones usually meant something. People could start writing theoretical fanfics just based on that alone, knowing this fandom. :)
I'm not liking the outfit for her, but for the AndrAIa version by WiGgY, it works, and the original creator did a sensational job with that design. Dot almost always wears something simple yet stylish, purposeful and never garish like this. She's a no-nonsense woman of business and logic, or at least she tries hard to be. Glitch Bob had an outfit very much like this, but he had super powers. The outfits designed originally, though explained very thoughfully and with so much work obviously put into them, were still very superhero-ish.
In short, kudos on the changes.
If I had time, I'd do some concept art. I so want to!
I like the shorter hair and glasses, but I think I like the other one by smartens a little bit better. Well, I shouldn't say that; I think I like the hair of smartens better and the glasses for this one. Perhaps a combination of the two?

Hair length is better, but the hair is still way too big. Glasses are good, but there's no improvement in facial structure.

I actually like the hair on the other sketch better, (it's the curls that does it) but I prefer these glasses.
