I am simply aghast at the v2 script. I don't know how you managed to so accurately capture the atmosphere of the show, but it's flawless. And Dot's bother at the cost of the pom-poms is hilarious, and on-the-nose. Also shooting down the flag 37 times got a good chuckle out of me. Sounds like just the pointless defiance Bob would keep up just to keep himself amused while other efforts are made. The humor couldn't fit the show any better than that.

My only wonder is with Megabyte's use of the word "peace." It doesn't seem like his word. Unity, perhaps, or something less, well, peaceful. That said, assuming it was being spoken, I could easily hear him hesitate almost imperceptably before each use of the word which might make the difference, or using a slight emphasis on the word (I suppose in comic form it could be italicized to get the same point).

But overall it's just perfect. This is, without a doubt, ReBoot though-and-through. Thank you for continuing to prove why I stand behind your project.

I can see this scene play out in my minds eye. Comic or whatever---this is the revival of ReBoot I've been waiting and hoping for.

There have been concerns expressed about the amount of exposition that would be involved to bring everybody up to speed. I believe the Arrival team has proven that they have the talent to handle it. Well done....

Nice use of Mike to get everybody up to speed! It was very easy for me to envision this, and it seemed 100% ReBoot the entire time. Great job.

Wow, thanks guys. I was a little worried when it went up because it had such a different feel from the V1 script.

TurboFool: Megabyte is going hard on the propaganda here; he doesn't mean a word of it. I like the idea that he might stumble through it anyway.

Man, just read the latest script and I'm speechless. You've captured the characters personalities to a T!

Everything written, dialouge, settings, the humor vs. dark themes...Right there is crafted the true ReBoot essance. Why, this little gem you've shown us today, it quite reminisces the days of Season Three. I see you haven't forgotten how Megabyte uses his force of propaganda when he mentions peace. Nice.

I definitely got the fact that he's lying through his teeth. It's merely that the word "peace" sounds so far out of his vocabulary, but that's exactly why I thought with the slightest pause or twist of his voice, as though the word scratches his mouth even coming out, it can still be obvious what the truth is. I suppose my initial reaction didn't take into the fact that such an aversion to the word by him would be obvious.

Anyway, after a ride to work and mulling this all over in my head, I have to reiterate again how good this snippet was. Bob and Dot's interaction (and the openness of their relationship) combined with their banter was just perfect. Dot's taking offense to the USO show's unapproved pom-pom expenditures and Bob's continued surprise and annoyance that Megabyte put the flag up for the 38th time (combined with Dot not showing the least bit of surprise that Bob will be destroying it again) could have been in ANY episode of the original run.

I'm too happy for words (well, obviously this comment is proof that that's an exaggeration), and I look forward to so much more.

*I want Rainmaker to start a new ReBoot TV series*. Wow, just wow.

As everyone stated here before, Mike, Bob, Dot and Megs were portrayed very accurately; I see them acting like this in the original series! Bob and Dot's relationship is portrayed very wonderfully, unlike S4 it seems here very natural. Bob's comment *I should have offlined him when I had the chance!* is a sign of trying to show that he can delete when needed; no longer is he willing to be a pacifist at all cost.
Bob shooting the flag 37 (soon to be 38) times: Nice touch on Bob's character! I always saw Bob to be a rebellious dork.

Bob and Dot seem like their S3 counterparts here, none of this S4 characterizations that turned them into crap. I really don't mind a retcon for character personalities since their characterizations are for the better, but the nitpicky part of my brain that tells me *explanation needed!* can't be ignored. (Sorry!) A part of me still wants to see how exactly Bob and Dot reconcile, or at least a small mention. A lot of tension was created between the two of them as a result.
Megabyte here is acting like his S2/S3 counterpart, and you captured his essence perfectly. We always knew Megabyte to be this megalomaniac virus, and his peace comment seems fitting for his character. My nitpicky side says *Why the change in motivation? Didn't he say that he wanted personal revenge?* Or can I just pretend I didn't here Megabyte's comment?

Sorry to be the nitpicky person, Whizzywig. Please don't berate me, I still love your script! Honest!

Loved it. As everyone else has already said, it really feels like *ReBoot*, I could imagine this scene happening in the show. The only bit I was doubtful about was the slightly cheesy moment with Dot and Bob, (the 'you're the Net's greatest hero, and mine' line) but after re-reading it, it's cute. And it's high time for Dot to get over herself where her feelings for Bob are concerned, and given that they're in the middle of a war, they don't have time for unresolved sexual tension.

Haruhi: Some time has elapsed since the end of S4, so I'm implying that Bob and Dot have "got it together" since then. They're a couple now (and a hot one, if smarten's designs translate well into 3D).

I think starting off the new series (or whatever) with them in a stable, established relationship will allow us to explore new facets of Bob and Dot's characters. Of course, they're not married yet, so that still leaves lots of room for drama, etc.

Also, I really didn't like Dot's emotional range in My Two Bobs. If you watch it now, it really grates. Sooo melodramatic. A lot of that was in the performance, so I'd really insist on co-directing the audio recording sessions. That said, giving Dot and Bob some time to relax into their relationship (but not showing that) will make it easier to write intimate scenes that aren't corny.

-Also, I really didn't like Dot's emotional range in My Two Bobs.

Is there anyone that really *does*? She seems to be limited to 'angst', 'doubt' and 'mindless joy'. ('oh look, Glitch!Bob is possibly dying... let's have a party!')
