Well, I'm not sure I'd call it laziness; I actually think it's the opposite. Many people are really busy, what with work, school, family, and other commitments, and being able to spend hours checking all the many blogs and updates that go on around here can be very time-consuming, especially when you have other responsibilities.
I'm lucky, because it's the summer and I don't have to start graduate school until the end of August, meaning I have plenty of time to goof off until then, but a lot of people have other much more important obligations than a television show (as great as Reboot is) that probably prevent them from checking everything and thus limiting them to only reviewing the launcher.
So, I don't think it's laziness; I think it's more or less being too busy, because I'm sure most people would rather be checking blogs about their favorite show than having to go to work and all. At least, that's my take on it.
They aren't reading the comments *there* either. I clarified the "pray to god" thing under the Carnivore entry and the *next* post still rattled on about it.
It really is a shame; people pay so little attention to the majority of material at hand, and they generally don't see the pitch for what it really is thus far - all they see is God and Gorilla Bob.
