I love reading into stories in this way. So much fun. Yep, I remember these clues. Not necessarily the eye in the cube, but I do remember a lot of these scenes leading up to the loss of the eye. It's so cool! I don't want to believe in coincidence. Fate? Karma? Doomed? eh...maybe. It's not a conspiracy in my book...it just adds to the cool-factor of the show. I like to think the writers breathed some life into their work and look where it lead them!

About the eye conspiracy though.. It does seem to make a lot of sense. That, or the designers have a fixation for eyes..
