Enzo's tackling Bob at the beginning hooked me, and I've been asking the question "How does he survive Enzo's relentless attacks?" ever since. And Mike's look and annoyance. Even though I'd do the same to Mike Bob did. Throw him out of the apartment.

It was something that captured my attention when I was watching it on YTV. It looked so different from all the other shows; the animation really caught me. Also because I didn't feel like the show was somehow brought down to try and suit my age level; it took itself seriously and told the story. The characters had a great impact, that even years later I could still remember them. Now when I go back to see it I realize what a gem it was. The characters are all treated with respect--no one is simply a tolken there to try and reach out to some demographic. The concept is so unique, so original, and so well thought out that it doesn't matter if not everyone will get the computer references, they learn the lingo in time. I love Reboot, and it will always have a special part in my memories.

I honestly think that it was about the time I started watching ReBoot that I stopped playing video and computer games! Call me sentimental, but I didn't want to nullify any of my sprites!! D: Also, I was young and silly. Now a days it's because my two year old daughter loves it so much! She fairly bounces up and down when she hears the music and is always asking to watch it! It's so cute! Her favorite character is Frisket, mine is Mouse, followed closely by Hexidecimal!

    Everything!

Though, I have to admit that I had a crush on Bob, especially Glitch Bob.
But honestly, it looked like nothing else on television at the time. It was so aesthetically interesting, and the concept was completely novel. what kid didn't at one point in their life wonder what it would be like if the characters in games had lives of their own?
Finally, the villains were fantastic. I loved them, then hated them, then loved them again...

Really, it was just a great series in general.

It's the type of show I lived out my teenaged life with, that caused me to get into cartoons/ anime. It had it's laughs, saddness, and romance scenes, which is why I liked it.

In childhood ReBoot made me be interested in electronics. It helped me a lot in my life and in my career. Nowadays it is more than TV series. It is a mirror to my past. It helps me remember the times than I was a little bit happier than now...

The characters and storyline of ReBoot is what hooked me into it. I loved Enzo, Matrix, Dot, Bob, AndrAIa and the other. I loved the use of computer jargon and scifi aspects of the story. The characters were developed.

The only show that beats ReBoot is Avatar the Last Airbender in character development.

ReBoot's use of pop culture refrences was good as well.

Too bad there aren't many classics like ReBoot left.

It first caught my attention by being the first ever CGI cartoon, as I watched it more and more I loved it, the humour, especially bob, the way hack and slash are like useless sidekicks who cant get anything right.
I loved how it was set in a computer, though I did get one or two of the references I was finding out more and more over the years as I learn more about computers and was amazed how many references they hidden, one of the most favourite cartoons ever!

Quite honestly, it was the animation. The CG was just amazing at the time, but even in the next few years when things like Toy Story and other Mainframe shows came out, Reboot still just had a wonderful art style that made it pleasing to watch. It's the style that keeps it from looking terribly aged, even when you watch the first season. That said, over time I stopped noticing the animation, due to the fact that the story and characters pulled me in so much. All the characters were charming and felt important, and when the ongoing arc started with AndrAIa, I really found myself wondering what would happen from episode to episode (as well as some episodes before then with particularly good plots). Now, when I go back and watch it, I also get to appreciate all the references to other works, as well as computer terminology and regular jokes that just flew right over my head before, so the show is still special to me.
