I always enjoyed his personality. He was a villain, but he wasn't the bumbling, fumbling villains you usually saw in shows like this. He plotted, planned, manipulated. And he had a sense of twisted humor to it all, like showing up at Enzo's party. I've always loved villains who were so sure of themselves and their plans that they could pull things like that.
*Nods* I totally agree with you on that one, Megabyte is the person...erm, Virus who set the standard, for me personally anyway, for a good villain. Far as I'm concerned, I haven't seen any real villain that even comes close to being as... amazing as Megabyte. ^^
I think that he is an unusal villan in that so many Reboot characters have a personal score to settle with him. Take for instance a villian like Darth Vader. While Han Solo and Leia may not like Vader much, we all know Luke will finish him off. With Megabyte EVERYONE would want to kill him personally. Dot's life has become hell because off him, Mouse and MB have a continued fued since The Great Brain Robbery and Bob has been fighting hm since the dawn of Reboot (mentioning Matrix would just be too obvios for words)
I think all this hate for MB is a testamint to how awesome he is. Ergo the Reboot fans MUST get a satisfying conclusion to the cliffhanger of Crouching Binome, Hidden Virus. I very sorry but a short comic isn't going to cut it with me
Anyway, I agree with you that he is awesome enough to invoke a personal response in a way few villains can. He's such a magnificent bastard, I consider him one of, if not the, greatest villain of all time.
