Wouldn't it be scary yet cool if Megabyte and the others found out a way to our world outside the computer?

Hack and Slash were great. I loved them so much. I have not idea why Megabyte has them though. He seems to be the sort that would kidnap-and-force/coerce someone to work for him if he thinks they would be useful to his goals. What do Hack and Slash have though? Comic relief, yes. Common sense, not so much. Powerful, nope. The only explaination I can come up with is that he, or his underlings, built the two bots and they didn't turn out to be as great as intended.

I read some where that Hack, Slash, and Scuzzy
were originally one robot at one time.

Megabyte was a high quality villian. I think it's safe to say he's clearly always 5 steps ahead of everyone. I thought it was deliciously devious how he fooled everyone in My Two Bobs. He seemed to really enjoy playing Bob, he actually did a damn good job at it too.
But one of my favorite Megabyte moments has got to be in Talent Night when he did that guitar solo with Hack and Slash on the drums. It was funny how he gave Enzo the guitar too. Amazing! Haha.

I always enjoyed his personality. He was a villain, but he wasn't the bumbling, fumbling villains you usually saw in shows like this. He plotted, planned, manipulated. And he had a sense of twisted humor to it all, like showing up at Enzo's party. I've always loved villains who were so sure of themselves and their plans that they could pull things like that.

*Nods* I totally agree with you on that one, Megabyte is the person...erm, Virus who set the standard, for me personally anyway, for a good villain. Far as I'm concerned, I haven't seen any real villain that even comes close to being as... amazing as Megabyte. ^^

Yeah, Web World Wars is among my favs. It wasn't until I saw the Episode with no Name that I blamed Mike for everything that had happened, for breaking the looking glass. I just wish they had done that 3rd film for season 4.

He was easily the best character in the series, in my opinion. I've always been partial to villains, but at times you could see the humanity in Megabyte. Whether it be him sparing Bob, or dealing with Hack and Slash because he knew they were... well... slow.
He was as evil as they came, yet still he had a form of nobility about him. He was doing what he was programed to do, and that's... infect.
I don't hold anything against the guy. But then again... I'm a virus enthusiast. lol

He also has quite a bit of s-x appeal too for a virus :P

Quite simply, I couldn't imagine Mainframe without him. For as much of a pain as he was to all of the other sprites, he ended up being good in a pinch.
As a character, he was pretty unique. I agree with Pharos in that he wasn't a villan who was easily foiled. That, and his manner of speaking leads one to realize that he's quite intelligent. This is a virus that always has a plan. Plus, he was rather badass, and that made him cool. ^^

The greatest villain in Canadian animation; a menacing mixture of chess-master and predator.

Megabyte is also a well-rounded villian. In many series, you see that the villians in it are all muscle and no brains, or intelligent but with a weak body. Sometimes, they have a character flaw that gets in the way of achieving their evil plots such as overconfidence.
Megabyte, however, is extremely strong, and while he might not be a genius at inventions or programs, he has the mind of an incredible strategist and is skilled at intimdation. As for character flaws, he does seem a little too confident, but perhaps not enough to exploit. I'd have to say that one of his key weaknesses is using Hack and Slash. He doesn't seem to have any love for them, yet he keeps them around despite their constant examples of ineptitude. Personally, I love Hack and Slash, but if I was Megabyte, I would have tossed them before the second season came in.
