Well, for one, she wasn't just popular among the males! ¬.¬
I always thought that AndrAIa was cool as a wee sprite, but when she grew up, look out! I thought she was absolutely gorgeous! And, not only that, she was this capable, confident woman who could kick butt all on her own! (Plus, she had Matrix and Frisket- 'nuff said. (; )
I loved her sea motif, and always wondered where it came from, as I've honestly never been sure.
Also, being a weapons geek, I loved her Trident. That thing is wicked cool!!
ya AndrAIa sure is great strong, smart, beautiful, well armed but i wonder she she really be as much of an optimist as she is? i mean she's gone through just about everything matrix has, lost in the games, sent to stange citys, witness to the nets horrors, kills regulairly. the things that turned matrix from a happy go lucky sprite to a grim, buffed up badass. but none of those things really seemed to affect her
Well, bear in mind that she wasn't as tied down to Mainframe as Enzo was. In Icons she stays that her "home" is simply to be with Matrix. So perhaps the tragedy of losing in a game didn't hit her QUITE as hard as it did Enzo. Also, she was living in the games before she ever met Enzo.
I think her personality could stand to be a little better-developed, but I don't by any means dislike her. I did find her younger self a bit more endearing, but the acquisition of that trident completely made up for it.
I agree. I like AndrAIa. She for the most part went along with whatever Matrix did. She also seemed too positive at times and I guess the bothered me some. Maybe she had to be for Matrix's sake.
I would have loved if she had step back during the wedding and
said something is not right here.
I ALWAYS loved the fact that she could shoot her fingernails out. The showdown she has with that female guardian in The Episode With No Name was my all time favourite moment of hers. totally badass.
i was also glad that she wasn't one of those annoying female side kicks that you see in movies these days. AndrAIa actually added ALOT to the plot. She held her own LIKE A BOSS!
I think she's beautiful, strong, smart, loyal, basically everything you could want in a person. Thank the writers she isn't one of the typical "oh help me, somebody save me I can't do anything" kind of characters!
It's just a shame that she's just a load of pixels. But what pixels!
-sorry, Red Dwarf moment there.
It's no surprise that andraia is a popular character among males ;) she had it all - looks and witty personality. She was never wrong and she was the life of the party.
AndrAIa was the perfect complement to Matrix, balancing out his gruffness and able to bring out his softer side. And she could kick butt right alongside him in battle. They were quite the awesome pair!

I always wanted her hair. :) And her optimism!

And I agree, her trident was just too cool.
