well, if you search around on the internet you can find all of the episodes for download (I would give an exact link, but I've no idea if it's not allowed on this site, so I'll play it safe...*coughcough*tpb*coughcough*) and they're actually extremely good quality. then I just used a DVD burning program (DVD flick is my personal favourite) and now I've got a DVD collection of reboot! :D
the only thing is that all the episodes are about 10 gigs and takes a very long time to download.

The person who created the series download that I used did I fantastic job, and I would love to tell them so. It's even better than watching it on YTV!!

Plus, the show wasn't made in widescreen. The reason widescreen is usually preferred for many DVD releases is because it is the usual format that films, and increasingly many tv shows, are made in, but this show was not. No,w if they managed to convert it to widescreen by adding picture to the sides, that would be fantastic, but no way is that happening. Instead, they would cut off the sides (top and bottom sides) of the picture, which nobody wants.

That said, this show needs to be released on DVD again, maybe just before the movie comes out, to help promote it. I'm left pirating episodes, but would gladly pay to support this franchise, as well as own a legitimate set which would hopefully have some good special features, such as commentaries, retrospectives, and that making of video that's been floating around on the Web for years.

Theoretically you get the the digital copies (from wherever) and if they are good enough quality and then upscale using handbrake or final cut pro and then convert them to mk2ts files and then burn them to a Blu-Ray. Unfortunately you will need a Blu-ray drive and probably a Macintosh.

I like the idea of blue-ray, never mind that I don't actually have one, but it would be interesting to see what the Rainmaker people come up with.
