I have been a ReBoot fan since I first watched it, only recently (about a month ago) I was talking about awesome shows that were on with a friend of mine, and I brought up ReBoot, and he said he had all the episodes saved on his computer. I quickly grabbed them off of him the next day.
After I finished watching all the episodes again (in order this time) it made me remember how much I loved ReBoot and I read that there was a movie posted to come out and a community on this website. (This was about a week ago)
And all I have to say is that I waited 10 years without hearing or seeing anything about ReBoot, and in the last month I re-watched all the episodes and found a community dedicated to an amazing show.
And I'll be honest the movie has a lot to live up to, and I am sure the fans wont be disappoint as long as the movie is not rushed.
The show was amazing, this community is amazing, and I am confident the movie will be aswell.
So long as somebody is trying to get ReBoot back, and if people keep supporting the idea, then I don't care how long it takes. Well.... I suppose I could wait another five years at the least. Maybe ten. :)
There is a difference between to critic and criticize. If someone thinks something is wrong then they should be able to state their opinions. I am glad Rainmaker is stil interested in ReBoot, I really am. But I also want this to get done right. That means while there would be re-imaging invoved, I still want it to be recognizable.
And I know Rainmaker is taking their time so they can do this right and for that I am gratefull. It is just it gets hard to be optimistic when we haven't heard anything new since October.
So while I applaud RME, I am still on the fence on this project.
As fans, we are delighted to see that there is still an interest in the ReBoot series. It is always encouraging to see your continued efforts in the current remake of ReBoot, and on behalf of fans all over, I would like to say Thank You. We are aware that with every franchise comes the possibility of a re-imaging and/or re-telling of the original story. Although this may be disappointing news to some, it is still welcomed news for all.
We are hopeful that during this economic downturn, Rainmaker will continue to persevere. If additional time is needed to complete this endeavor, then by all means take whatever time is deemed necessary. We are all looking forward to a quality product, and if you need any support from the fans, then just ask. We’ll be patiently waiting.

Whatever is made, I will see, besides my weakness to videogame/comic book movies I want this project to succeed.
