I think it would be a great game-changer to make Megabyte a sprite for even a little while and put him in the background, feigning innocence. He wouldn't be the biggest problem for Bob and his group (perhaps they'd be dealing with a new enemy or...I dunno, seeking out Hexadecimal...), but we'd get snippets every now and then of Megs putting his own plan together. Someone on deviantART did a great picture of him as a spirte: http://fav.me/d1rly1q
But then, bring him back as part of something huge. Like, a new-wide viral uprising. He'd look awesome in this style: http://fav.me/d2o6kwz
I love him too much as a villain to see him go, but I wouldn't mind the focus shifting to someone else...for a little while.

Wow! Those are some interesting pictures. They look a little anime style but I'd go for it. I think it would be a great direction for Rainmakers to take if they decided to ditch the computer graphics format.

Alright then. If not Megabyte, then who? Should Matrix be deleted at the end of Season 3 or 4? After all, he does have a backup copy of himself - little Enzo.

If not deletion, then maybe he can be infected and become Megabyte's henchman. Something like OspreySoul's suggestion.

Matrix is different from Enzo. Just because there are two doesn't mean one should delete.

And actually the ReBoot game shows Matrix as his henchman. And how it happened was not pretty.

True. I think the only villain left is Herr Doctor with Bunnyfoot. But then again, there could be another Daemon or web virus.

I dunno megabyte was such a classic villain...but a lot of that was in Tony Jay's voice. and now that he's passed away; I don't know if anyone could fill the shoes of him. anyways this is all assuming that Rainmaker will try and get the original voice actors back for the movies (WHICH THEY BETTER). as long as hex comes back, I'm happy ;)

If anything, I think they can digitalize his voice. One can hope...

Or Megabyte could upgrade. Viruses lose their memories when they go to the next level.
So it will be Megabyte but as a different virus. That could explain his voice change.

And Maybe after the upgade the others somehow turn him into Sprite.

Though I think their should be another big bad as well. I mean look at Batman, and superman there were tons of bad guys.

In Avatar the Last Airbender there was Zhao, Ozai, and Azula. All were equally bad.
What if the virus was Chernobyl?

I like the idea of there being another bad guy. I'm just not sure if it should be another virus. After all, Mouse and Captain Capacitor started off as a bad guys - with a good heart.

You could have Matrix become the new Megabyte so to say. Matrix was very dark and brooding, especially at the beginning part of season 3. Something while deleting Megabyte could go awry and send him over the edge or transform him. That would be the irony of becoming like the virus he had fought so vigilantly to defeat.

That would be an interesting twist. I wonder how Bob would deal with his former protege'?

I actually think that Megabyte set the bar pretty darn high for any new threat. He took over f'n Mainframe for crying out loud! I would've loved it if he had been turned into a sprite BUT it backfires on Bob and only makes him stronger and he retains his bad nature. If you ask me Bob's pacifism was bogus in regards to Megabyte. He needed to be stopped. I love him as a villain and would love to see how they stop his hunt.

The only way I could see MB as a sprite is if he rebooted in a game and pretended to be a game sprite.

Bob suddenly being a pacifist was out of left field. I'm sure they meant to add something else in season 4, but didn't get the chance to. Maybe something like Phong dieing after the cliffhanger. Then Bob snapped out of it and realized he couldn't be a pacifist anymore.

I get sick of him... he never dies! lol He's like Kenny... gets killed and comes back. I like the Daemon virus etc. I'd like to see something new... but I guess it wouldnt be reboot without him

That's true. I was surprised that he returned in season 4. I guess it was to make up for the loss of Hex.

What about a malignant program that wants to turn sprites into viruses? He could have a light yagami personality.

I remember Hex creating the Medusa Bug that froze everyone in Mainframe.

Megabyte is always infecting binomes. So I think it's possible that he could learn how to make a program that could turn sprites into viruses. It'd be interesting if he turned Andraia into a virus. That would make Matrix's day.
