I have to admit: Loved Matrix, AndrAIa, and their story... I wish that there was a flashback episode, where they'd show how their relationship developed over their game-playing seconds.
I really hope to see more of Hexadecimal in full-on crazy function. She has so much raw power, but there's this fragility about her that tugs at my heartstrings.
AndrAIa will always be on my list of favourites because she was the first cartoon character i ever had the hots for (as wrong as that might be) but Mike The Tv was really cool too. especially in Wizards Warriors and a word from our sponsor my favourite episode
He's way up there with The joker on my list of best villains ever! Especially in season four. Partly because of his new design but also because he was so vicious as to take Bob's place! He may seem too powerful at the end of MTB, but that's the point! The good ones are there to find his flaw and make the best of it.
The sexual tension between him and Dot is quite interesting.
Matrix is a very interesting hero. Trouble is, if he is in a movie with Bob, a movie can only have one hero. One of them will inevitably have to take the back seat.
I am sorry, but I have to add this becasue it just came to mind...
I am right, Megabyte was too powerful to be stopped in the seris and there is no chance that is even a solution to this problem.
The cliffhanger ending allows us to use our imagination to come up with an ending that satisfies our expectations of the series.
If rainmaker came up with a conclusion, it would not good enough for most fans...I must refer to the web comic as my reasoning...
The way they "kill" (or defeat, based on interpretations) megabyte is just pethetic...it would be like if darthvader died because he tripped and broke his helmet open...
these characters are just too powerful and important to be defeated in such a stupid manner... The view is always right, and when we fill in the missing gap that was left with our imagination, we create the purfect ending to a purfect series...
I don't know for sure how megabyte was origionally suposed to die, but I intend to find out....REBOOT!
Long story short..... (I know it is a bit late for that)
Listed below, are the reasons why I believe that megabyte has become a disapointment.
1.) Megabyte gave up on all that he tried to accomplish during the series (ie. Megaframe)
2.) His mind has become more twisted and peverted
3.) His new physical form is sweet, but it would have been nice to see the origional
4.) He has become so powerful that the series had to end on a cliffhanger becasue there was no possible way for him to get defeated...
(comment 3 is not really against the new megabyte, I just wanted to make some comment on his form)
ever since Enzo lost his eye, the writers made the story go from a kids story to a more mature plot that was more directed to an older youth audience... I hated how the writers from rainmaker did this to almost every project that they were working on at the time... like the transition from Beast Wars to Beast Machines... They would start off with a simple to follow story where everyone was happy, with the ocasional problem and then there is a climatic moment where everything changes. The next thing, the audinece is taken many years (or cycles) into the future where everything has changed. From the characters, setting, atmospher, etc, the style becomes more dark...
they should have at least had a transitional season where they could give a quick explaination.................
Oh, I completly forgot... the reason I am writing this was to explain why megabyte became such a dissapointment....
long story short...(I know its a bit late for that)
I know i am here a little late, but my favorite character is megabyte aswell...however, his personallity changed alot when he became trojan horse megabyte.
when he first appeared, i was in shock for 5 seconds to see the best villian ever in the reboot universe once agian to cause havic and try to build mainframe in his image (megaframe)...I was even more shocked to see how the net changed his physical form causing him to look more vulgar and mutated...
what made him so disappointed with this new form, was the way he interacted with the characters. Some times it was like the good old days where he made a light comment here and there with a little lighted comedy... but there were also some times when he seemed so peverted and twisted. The scene i relate this to was when he gives dot a kiss and he says "and a kiss to the blushing bride." This was so unlike megabyte from the past.
Megabyte is my favourite baddie, really hope he upgrades into something new and terrifying. As long as it keeps his personality.
Loved all the characters but top 4, hack&slash at 4th (can't do 1 without the other), Hex for her madness at 3rd, Mike at 2nd for constantly stealing the spotlight & Matrix & AndrAIa at 1st for the most evolved characters. They have developed their characters the most.

I kind of preferred Andraia as a child.
