I wouldn't mind a retelling. But the thing is that the writers now have SO much more computer material to work with. With computers as prevalent as they are today, there are all kinds of ways they can expand the Reboot universe.
I just hope they have a competent writer/director at the helm. They really should get the original creators on on board. I can't imagine what they are thinking by not doing that.
It would be great if the creators showed us more 3D models, some 2D scetches or told us what are they working on. A teaser, an image, a rumor... Just something...
