ARRIVAL V3: Awesome Contest

rebootarrivalthumbnailborder06.jpgHey gang. Professor WhizzyWig here. We're all feeling really good about the recent response to our V3. Finally, it feels like we're not just the least of the five evils. :)


A lot of people have expressed their satisfaction withthe script. This means so much to me since my true love is writing stories - not pitches. Some people have asked us to make a new sequential using the script, just as we did for the V1 script.


Sadly, we won't have time for that. We only have one artist (smartens) and he's super busy on all kinds of stuff right now. But there are lots of fans out there with some real talent... so why not take my 3-page script and do it as a comic book? Post it on a blog so everyone can see!


I'll do one better - for everyone that manages to get a comic version of the script up by next Sunday (the end of the contest) I will mail you a super special prize - probably a ReBoot-oriented something. Either that or I'll make you a ReBoot: Arrival cookie with the Arrival logo on it in mint-viral icing. Trust me, it'll be good.


So whattya say? You've got 7 1/2 days - better get to it.

    I may try my hand at this. Probably won't CG the whole thing, though, if at all... I'm pretty busy. But I'll see if I can sketch/clean up something.

    I was thinking about this. I'm not used to doing comic book style, but I really wanted to see this portrayed. Okay, you won me.

    I was going to do the Mike segment and a pic of the Bob and Dot scene out of the goodness of my heart and then you just had to throw in this prize-ness. Now I guess I have to do the rest too DX

    Question: At this point in the story, do Bob and Dot have the new outfits of the concept art, or is that still happening after Gnosis gets all... Gnosis-y?

    Oh! I'm too busy to try that but thanks for suggesting it. I haven't drawn a comic panel since college.
