 This is basically the PM I sent the writer of Arrival with my ideas on how to make things, not crappy. lol Sup, Jeffrey =D

Alright here we go. I'd like for you to keep an open mind in how I name things or arrange them. It will keep the same story, but .. you know.. make me happy because it will be logical to me lol.

I'll start with the easiest stuff first.

MegaByte is a trojan Horse, his code was altered and he wants to get to the super computer. The SuperComputer is actually the ISP. That's a big telecom like Verizon or broadband company. He had his code altered when he was in the web to infect the ISP so that he could get to everyone's computer.

There, solved motive and it's pretty easy to follow along.

Next is the origins of Gnosis.. no offense, but all that double crossing stuff made no sense for me. Too many what ifs.

Okay, here is a really logical solution to Gnosis. Gnosis is the one that actually changed MegaByte. Megabyte is a Trojan Horse sent by Gnosis to infect the ISP. A warrior for him. An Avatar as you called them?

Now you can make it, Megabyte does a distraction and actually gets deleted by Guardian Forces, while Gnosis comes in and takes over the super computer.

Or have Megabyte succed in the take over, then Gnosis just goes in and takes charge.

What Gnosis actually is... It's a Bot program. It connects to different computers and leaves a program. Making them 'Bots'. A bot is when a hacker leaves a program on your computer, like a backdoor. The hacker gives it instructions and the hacker has control. Now the regular user might not notice, but savvy users will when they notice their computer is running slow or their internet is really slow as well.

So Gnosis is able to infect the computers the ISP serves including Mainframe. You can have a big battle or whatever, but the systems get infected with the program. And the program makes the Binomes and bytes, and all the different characters within it's sector to become almost 'zombified' to do whatever task they are given.

The others might ask what they are doing... but no one knows because the Hacker, User, is the one giving the instructions. Since the User is God, is too hard for them to comphrend why a User would do this horrible deed.

It gives motive to CodeMasters and Viruses to come together and fight because their very existance is now in danger. Or try to get this Zombifing program out of their systems. So you can have your alliance of Guardians, Viruses, and CodeMasters. But it actually makes sense to me now lol.

The biggest problem with your story right now is 'The users have gone to a web based game'... That does not fly. If your computer was infected, you'd try to fix it. Clean, wipe out, whatever. You can imagine an Enzo rant on how to delete stuff. So basically, the next best step is that, they notice their computers act alittle weird sometimes, but most of the time they are fine.

 Basically make them not aware, maybe on a few system. The Users run an anti virus/anti spyware program to get rid of a few of them. So a few systems are okay, little safe havens.

Now using this guideline, everything makes sense. You can still have the codemasters going 'Oh no they are trying to figure out the 'Codex' an infinite power when figured out'. So they want to stop them, so that Gnosis doesn't figure it out. Everyone believes that is what's going on.. but it's not. lol

Bots are mainly used to spam websites, to crash servers, and usually be malicious.

Also Gnosis was User made that clears everything up on why it would take over the SuperComputer and stuff.

Also I have the way on how this should logically end without Bob needing to kill 'Avatar Enzo' or whatever.

Read up and see if you like it. There's still qualms I still have, but this should make your story 10 times better.
