Yeah, it's interesting how viruses have different themes or styles in how they attack systems.
Some are simple, like Kilobyte, or Gigabyte, or that Mantis virus. They're basically vicious animals.
Megabyte however, was more like an evil dictator, like Hitler or Stalin.
And Daemon, she was more like an insidious and highly deceptive cult-leader. XD It's easy to be controlled if you are deluded and contented by that control.

Yeah x) It was an interesting twist for a Virus.

It just goes to show that looks are deceptive. You can assume all you want based on appearances - but be prepared to be surprised. I thought it was fantastic that she did her takeover so effortlessly. She didn't need big weapons or to look demonic.
I have to disagree on the innocent part. She wasn't innocent at all - she just behaved in a non-threatening way ...err for the most part. She was almost like a child, but hardly innocent. :P

This is true.. Definitely more sinister than innocent.

During season 3, when we first found out about Daemon (then ITV stopped showing ReBoot), I imagined that Matrix would find her in some sort of dark, forboding ship and that she'd basically be the completely evil virus everyone was expecting, talons and all.
But no - completely didn't expect her to be as she was. As Caden said, we've had Megabyte (ruthless and cunning), Hex (completely insane), and Kilobyte and Gigabyte (powerful but simple). Daemon was patient.

Yeah, her character was definitely interesting, and quite the surprise. A character which we hadn't seen before in the series.

I really like the way they portrayed Daemon. She was exactly the opposite of what everyone was expecting and thats why she was so powerful because no one had planned to fight a virus like that.
The only thing that I didn't like was how fast that problem was solved. Only 4 episodes to destroy the most powerful super virus ever? I call shenanigans.

True.. But those episodes were kind of movie-length, I think.

What I heard was they had a different idea of Daemon at the end of season 3 but didn't get to go that route with a movie.
In season 4 they went in another direction with Daemon.

Sounds cool... do you perhaps have a picture of how Daemon would have looked like if they went through with the original idea/design?

Actually, I never saw Season 4 until about two years ago, but I know what you mean. After Turbo's appearance, I expected some big harry monster, or even a godzilla/slimeball/bigfoot creature. She was nothing like what I expected.

I absolutely loved Daemon. She was an amazing character and my favorite villain. She had that appeal that made amazed you, even though her role was in a negative fashion. I was upset the fight between her and Hex didn't last longer, That should had been a major, huge confrontation for the show!! but it only lasted nanoseconds! :-( Either way, she help propel the show into even better memories. My iphone background is of her :-) Plus loved her voice! Wished she had stayed around a lil bit longer! Plus I didn't like that Hex sacrificed herself at the end :( She should had stayed too! but its all good :-) Its what made the show memorable!
