ReBoot

It seems this place has died down because of well....not hearing anything in forever from Rainmaker.

It's not time to bail on the company and hope for the movie just yet- I emailed them requesting information and really let them know that I wasn't emailing for bashing reasons or anything- but that I was/ am an avid ReBoot fan and how much it means to me...

 I had a lovely hour discussion with the man (Brian I think) about the show and stuff.

He didn't tell me anything really new. The company is still working very hard on DVD rights, he said that should be sorted out soon and once it does- expect a quality box set.

On the reason for nothing new to us. It's that they are still perfecting how they want the look and feel of it. Unlike a live action movie, once you design something, it's very difficult to go back and change it throughout the shot. So once they know where they are going with it- they will release more stuff for us media wise.

Obviously they haven't been a perfect company PR wise. But I honestly think they are trying and working their ASCII off o make it work. He told me that the movie is NOT dead and far from it- he said that ReBoot is probably what they are devoting most of their time and effort into.

Just my experience. I think it's been too long without hearing from them and they've made mistakes- but I think making a good movie is what they are trying to do. They're focusing on a good movie and experience for everyone, instead of bringing back just the old show in it's glory. I think we should hold tight until June- if nothing is released until then- we can have a true right to be angry

But the fact that someone from RME called me PERSONALLY restored my confidence in them that they are trying their hardest and haven't COMPLETELY forgotten about us.

SO- don't lose all hope yet- but spamit...it's been a while right? haha
