What are these Points you speak of?

First off, introductions:
My name is Mark/ Parallellines and I'm the new community manager at Z2H, the brains behind this site.
Lately, you may have notice a little window pop-up as you've been navigating the site, informing you that you've been awarded a number of points. This is part of out new social capital system.
The question everyone seems to be asking is: what are these new mysterious points, and what are they for?
Think experience points. Basically, whenever you're active in the community - whether through posting new content, commenting on other works or just logging in - you will earn points. These are linked to the new title system as well. As you amass points you gain access to new levels and titles.
We do have more plans for the point system, though for now things are still in development. Think new items for your avatar and the like.
Plus, these points are a great way for Reboot rookies to see who the movers and shakers are. Despite being under construction, we wanted to give you a chance to start earning as early as possible. So start clicking and rack up those points.

a binary number system would be nicer than points for reboot or upgrade from binome to sprite

Alright then, just have a few questions.
1. Is the twitter account still active? I'm not a tweeter, but I'm just wondering what to make of the last news feed of "new wallpapers".
2. Any way of finding out how much points I currently have totaled?
3. So what are the basics about new levels and titles? I think we're all at least level 1, but what are the titles?

To answer your questions:
1. The Twitter account is not currently active. Keep an eye out though, we haven't completely forgot about it...
2. Your total points are visible on you user profile.
3. You'll see when you get them! Seriously though, the point system has been implemented but the titles/levels are still on the way. I'll keep you all updated as soon as I can. For now, you can amass points in preparation.
Sorry to be so vague, but I can't reveal all the surprises right away!

What exactly does the point sysem contribute to? If it is images of characters that would be a good idea.
But if this is some random thing....
It would be nice to know what is going on.

A couple of people from the Java Hut are saying they can no longer log in because Z2H shortened name length allowances. This undoes their user names that were previously okay.
Indeed, what exactly is going on?
