Not Sure how many people here got to enjoys these, but I was lucky enough to be a regular at Playdium in Burnaby, BC. during their runs. I went on both of them; 1st one many times, 2nd one once, and while they may not be Cannon they were very fun!

They were really fun, there was 2 or 3 rows of seats (I always sat in the front it's the most Immerse) on a Platform that was controlled by Hydraulics With a huge Wraparound screen that pretty much encompassed your whole range of vision. It Moved to what's on the screen, it was a very convincing sensation!

Memories of the story are kinda hazy (it was like 10 years ago :-p) all I really remember is being lead around by the search Engine Girl, being tugged back and forth by Hack and Slash and getting attacked by Megabye and "falling" after he cut off the front of the vehicle (I think he wanted the engine to get into the net or something) You end up following Bob and Dot for a while too while they tow the passenger section. As for the 2nd one I don't really remember anything, that It was about Hex is all I remember, Playdium shut down not long after that.

I was 17 at the time so not really a kid, But i guess I've always been a big kid. lol

Lucky you. A ride like that would fit in nicely at Universal Studios in Florida. Too bad I have to miss out. Thanks for the memories.

I would've loved to see those rides too! But I keep wondering, what does everyone mean with "They're not cannon"? Do you mean that they never launched as originals, or that it's never been printed by a Canon printer? :P

I don't think Canon has to do with printing, on a Canon printer or any other printer, it has to mean something else. Just common sense to say Canon when saying something, to shorten texts.

I would have loved to go on at least one, but it was too expensive to journey to there. Usually we had trouble enough just going to Austin. I would have been tickled blue to go on one, but that's life.

Managed to get on both at Skegness at Fantasy Island. Irony was that both were released on the same day we planned to go for the summer holidays.

Missed a few days worth because I got sick yet my brothers who could have, waited for me. So that all three of us could go on together.

Actually went on V2 that year. It was the last day of my holiday at Skegness that me and bros got to go on V1.

Went on them for a few years before they replaced the imax ride all together. The park isn't what it used to be.

Really wish they'd re-realease the rides at one point in every country or there should be a theme park done in Reboot style.
