As far as we know, there will be a ReBoot movie. There has been a teaser trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zscrv7OJ3TU
and there has been a glimpse of a Guardian of some sort: http://rebootrevival.com/
We're hanging out, and always vigilant of any new news which might be leaked.

No one knows when the ReBoot movie is coming out. IMDB states it will come out in 2010. But I doubt that will happened.

I don't know why rainmaker doesn't get Brendan McCarthy to design their "Mickey Mouse." Especially since they own a lot of his character designs.

Rainmaker needs mascots, yet they gloss over their stable of original characters? Okay, maybe not every character in a show like Reboot leads itself to being a mascot, but I would do something with some binomes. Those characters are recognizable yet versitile, already have a fanbase, and would promote not only the company in general, but some of their projects directly, while also paying homage to their old work and reminding people of who they are. Bah. I would still watch filmd with their new mascots, but I wish Reboot would get more of their attention.

I didn't understand why they needed mascots. But then I realized that this is Rainmaker, not Mainframe Entertainment. So they need to make their own impact.
But still, why not parade ReBoot characters every now and then. Just for the nostalgia factor, you know!

I think that binomes or young Enzo are the best candidates as mascots. Brand ReBoot is a parental brand and a visit card of Manframe and Rainmaker later. Why are they lookin for something different? The have everything they need.

To be honest, I'm waiting for Rainmaker to do two things: Firstly, I really want them to release the exsisting series on DVD with good quality, so that fans like us can enjoy ReBoot the way it was. And secondly, I can't wait for the new movie to be released! I've seen the teaser trailer of course (I signed up for something ReBoot related, I don't remember what exactly, but I got the teaser trailer per email), but it doesn't show any real proof that they're REALLY working on something, which kind of worries me a little. Are they making progress? Are there any plans for a release date? Will it be this year that the movie will reach the theaters? Or will it be next year that we'll finally be able to see it (AGAIN!)?
There are so many unanswered questions, I feel like my head could blow up any minute sometimes - especially when I watched one of the episodes again, which I do pretty often, haha... I don't care how many times I watch them, everytime it's great! I'm sure all fans agree :D
